And our bug... which is not fixed yet or dealt with..... (bug shows as major yawing on landing and takeoff and total screwiness on stalling...)

the offer for a beta version of the sabre stands.... Will you take it and see if you can find the error?

The save issue is confirmed fixed. We just have on minor pesky bug happening with choppers atm and have not been able to get a firm handle on it. If anyone wants to try the beta now, pm either lewis or me on our forums, or pm me here. Scott.

Hi Scott,

Do you have a change log?

Love accu-feel!

I like that word!!

I don't, neither does AVSIM. I would like to ask you to stop using it, here at least. A curse word, even when shortened, is still a curse word.

Wow, you ask a simple question and look at what happens. I had actually forgotten about the tool and was going through my folders and there it was.

I hope I don't get blacklisted by A2A :girl_devil: Sorry guys!

Officially retired

I did a couple of quick tests to see if my settings were lost or not. I tried a default aircraft and the freeware Basler BT-67. After noting the settings, I closed out FSX and restarted it. The settings remained the same that I had set for each aircraft.

It was hardly a comprehensive test to be sure but my AccuFeel seems to be working just fine. I look forward to the update for helicopters.!

Here is the current change log:

Accu-Feel changes from v.1.0 to v.1 07-15

Fixes:

- Minor correction with pressure altitude calculations

- Fixed issue with tail draggers bouncing too much from tailwheel bumps

- Fixed save issue

- Conflict with A2A Jacks fixed

New Features:

- Support all sliders to be OFF when set to the LEFT

- Open cockpit checkbox supported

- Bigger aircraft have a deeper brake 'groan'

- Physics are better managed for future expansions

- Fuselage drag sound, most noticeable in high performance jets when maneuvering

- Stall stability physics added. Alpha testing.

Scott.

Thanks for the change log, Scott. Looking forward to the new version of that small but vital soft.

If anyone wants to try the beta now, pm either lewis or me on our forums, or pm me here.

Now that's a good tip.

After noting the settings, I closed out FSX and restarted it. The settings remained the same that I had set for each aircraft.

Good outcome. I'd say that if works on one plane (saving), the others will most likely work too.

The tests I did today were with my original setup of AccuFeel V1.0. I do not have the beta version.

Don't worry, that's how I've read it. As said, the 1.0 version should work at most ends in regard to the saving feature.

I guess my post answering to two different things was a bit confusing. I just wanted to stress that the folks receiving the 1.0 issue should try the beta.

I have had zero issues with Accu-Feel (other than it not saving settings)

Howard, I dont think that A2A would have released anything half assed.....its not their style!

Same here.I think it works great. I just have too many AC set up here to keep tinkering with the sliders all the time.

Well that change log should see to some of my issues i've had but apart from that Accufeel does it for me. Nice work.

Thanks for the info Scott.

Kind Regards

Simon.

Carl,

We expected to have this update out a while ago so it's one of those things where, if we knew it would have taken this long to get the update out, we would have made a hot fix.

We brought in a user a few weeks ago that was experiencing the save issue mentioned here, and he confirmed this is now fixed. Next week we will make a build available to the public to try. The good thing here is, Accu-Feel is so simple in the way it attaches itself to FSX, it easy to switch versions.

We'll post here in avsim when the public beta is ready.

Scott.
