Something interesting... Anyone tried it?

It seems to replicate what Accu-Feel already does

hmmm combined with EZDOK?? but EZDOK already gives you the ground effect, as well as air effect (it reads the weather and adds bumps or turbulence accordingly)..

I know of people who can't use EZDOK on TH2GO or SURROUND, it would have been good to have this product as a stand-alone, valid alternative. Has anybody tried it?

The main thing I take away from reading the product description is that it simulates the nose wheel going over the centre-line runways lights - which neither Accu-Feel or EzDOK do. It's exactly what Aerosoft AES does, but it only works when you buy the credits for the addon airport.

The Accu-Feel I have installed gives plenty of nosewheel bumps when going down the runway.......yours does not?

I thought Accu-Feel played the nosewheel bump sounds regardless of whether or not your nose was on the centreline?

Its not just a sound....its linked to the physics of the aircraft. The aircraft itself also shakes.

There still seems to be some confusion that Accu-Feel is nothing more than sound effects.

This is not true.....just review the A2A promo video.

No, that's not what I'm saying. In real life you're only going to get the nose-wheel bumping sound if your nosewheel is actually going over the centreline lights. I'm fairly sure Accu-Feel plays the sound regardless of whether or not your aircraft's nose wheel is hitting the centre-line lights.

Yes, once you get above a certain speed (40ish knots IIRC, might depend on the size of the A/C though) the sound starts playing regardless. I have it but rarely use it now, I think it adds something to "lite"/light aircraft but on something like a PMDG tubeliner it's pretty much a waste IMHO.

I am almost never on the centerline. I would like to be, but I can never seem to get my usb controls to a point where I have complete control. I have, like many, fiddled with non-linear, linear, null zones but never perfect. Plus you have winds to deal with and without the "feel" aspect of real flying I find it very difficult to stay completely lined up. There are variations from plane to plane too. Some planes are easier to control or less or more sensitive than others, but for the most part I think I stay within a couple of feet either side.

In a small aircraft, you get some bumps along the runway regardless of hitting centreline or not.

I dont fly 'tubes' so I have no idea in that regards but for anything from a Cessna 152 to a Jetstream 4100 the effects Accu-Feel generate are spot on IMHO.

I wouldn't worry, pilots tend to be either slightly to the left or right of the centreline intentionally to avoid the nosewheel going over the lights.

Just purchased.

Sometimes EzDoc visually twitches too hard with each bump. Looks like computer stutters. Hope a slide control on this will develop.

The GUI is too light and the boxes are barely visible. Im sure they will work that out too.

My 5 tactile transducers (bass shakers) really pick up the thuds. Unlike AccuFeel which i can barely "feel", but certainly hear.

I use AccuFeel for shakes, rattles and roll sounds.

FSPassenger also has some aircraft sounds.

FSDolby was terribly unstable so i dont use that (too bad they couldnt get it together like AccuFeel and Runway Dump).

Flying a 2 Seat Static GA Simulator out of CYYZ.

btw...TH2go, EZdoc, AccuFeel and FsPassenger all seem to work quite fine with RunwayDump.
