Kirby's main attack is inhaling enemies (both his mouth and body expand to allow him to inhale things much larger than himself) and swallowing them.

You sure?

I've just finished my Seattle to Vancouver tour with not using any direct routing and speeding through the valleys. Nice plane! Really nice. I wonder if Mario pilots the real one. The system details aren't just ordinary freeware. Some payware would be very proud of this, not only on my WARN message.

Well, my real life flying experience is limited to grabbing the yoke of a CEssna 172 for some 5 minutes, and steering it in between two class-C airspaces at 2000 Ft. All the details in this model caome from the real flight manual... fact the mnual included is an empoverished and re-formatted version of the real thing...and that is version 3.0, the original one dating FS-2002!!

Now even Flightsimmers are telling me that?? Nail%20Biting.gif:rolleyes:

Guess what, I've cleared that WARN on the next flight. Silly me, I forgot that one switch to allow for the environmental control system to work.

As said, the systems on that plane are very detailed and I guess that e.g. the handling of the condition lever is a thing some turbine payware would be proud of. The only downsides I see could be the VC sharpness, so to speak. I really like the rest and will keep that speedy and unique plane for sure.

Thanks again for your efforts, Mario. I wished I had your skills.

Hello Mario,

I've enjoyed flying your beautiful plane since I found it for FS9. I fly it also in FSX because it looks so sleek and powerful. The panel was hard to use but I enjoyed my flights and now that you've built this for FSX I will really enjoy taking this Italian beauty on tour, especially in the form fitting Masseratti gown. Thank you very much for your fine work and making such a special plane available to me.

Mario,

Thanks for all your detailed work in this freeware model - very much appreciated

FINALLY!!!!!

This is the plane I've been waiting for. I've been flying this pretty much non-stop since yesterday and it is my new favorite plane in FSX (sorry Turbine Duke). Surprisngly, and with the exception of the textures of the cockpit, this is nicer plane to look at and to fly than my FSD Cirrus SF-50 payware. I had the previous version of this plane and didn't like it very much due to the cockpit being a little off and the sound being way-off. This one is pretty much spot on with an Avanti that passes my house pretty much every morning from KOPF to KBCT. If the textures were improved, I'd buy this in a heartbeat but for a freeware plane, this is one of the best I've come across.

Great work!!!

Now we're talking, 400+ in a prop. Cool plane! I fully agree with SirStiggie.

Unfortunately, I bought the Carenado KingAir last week. I could have saved that $$ for something else If I only knew this was coming out. Oh well, so it goes. Its very hard to go back to that or my Turbine Duke or pretty much any of my payware turboprops after flying this little puppy. Sure doesn't hurt that its not a FPS hog either

Carenado offers a refund if you ask them. But me says that a King Air and the P180 can use the same hangar. Currently running 438 kts GS, thanks to some winds.

I'm leaning in this direction. No regrets really as its a fun plane to fly when I feel like flying a bus

Again, I feel honored by your kind comments!

So far, in need of fixing:

  • TAWS sounds sometimes do not play in FSX (I may have forgotten to explicitly set the volume at startup...)
  • It appears that the recog light effect is missing... (fix for this is trivial)
  • The sheer beauty of the lady passenger appears to be a matter of ferocious debate  (or texture resolution, for that matter...)

Regarding texture resolution on the VC walls, this model still carries marks of its ancient origins (originally built in AD-2002 for FS2k2, then SCASM-decompiled to gMAX, for updates 2 and 3).... Myself I'm surprised at the longevity of such an old mesh designed with an ancient (but very clever for its time) software!

Some of you might not have found out (yet) but in your DVC/cabin:

  • flying sun-bound? no prob, use the shades!!
  • same problem from the cabin? blinds are there for that!
  • when you go back to the toilet area, remember to close the door behind you!
  • please stow your tray tables during take-off, landing, or otherwise instructed by the flight crew!
  • Say hello to Kirby!

I hope you are having as much fun with this little plane as much as I enjoyed building it (and flying, too)!!

Seems like I've missed some details you've hidden in the plane. Well, except for the shades, I had those running into KJAC (non addon). What a nice trip that was, and fast! Pretty much surfing the MMO and the autothrottle did well.

Ok this is driving me nuts. How did you get this view? Nothing I do seems to work.

EZCA can bring you to that one. Well, I was cheating as I posted that shot. It's in the screenshots folder. I just was to scared to get closer to Kirby. He%20He.gif

Mario, would there be some way to improve the VC textures and e.g throw in some HD variants of them? A small item for me would be the altimeter clickspot or the logics with the up 1000, down 100. They sometimes trick me.

Other than that, I'm amazed. You surely saw the nice Basler freeware being released lately, that's the other freeware I'm in awe about. So I have two nice planes for free. Awesome!
