August 3, 201213 yr Commercial Member Hi! Well probably bumping the interior textures to 2048px may help! As for the rear view, you can use your camera add-on, or simply configure your eyepoint commands in FSX...That's how I made it to there... What's with the altimeter exactly? too tiny a click area? I think the up 1000 down 100 click spot was applied only to the altitude selector? Kirby is there for safety in case of a vacuum pressure loss, but could also cause pressurization problems if left in the cabin for too long maybe...

August 3, 201213 yr Hi! Well probably bumping the interior textures to 2048px may help! You have the source data. If you could do that, it would be a blast. I certainly failed with my edits. What's with the altimeter exactly? too tiny a click area? I think the up 1000 down 100 click spot was applied only to the altitude selector? Good catch. I meant the altitude selector, you are right. No problem on the altimeter. Thanks fore the warning on Kirby. I knew he couldn't be trusted. <_<
August 3, 201213 yr Author Agreed.... the VC is the only downside to the plane.... otherwise it's fun to go so fast in a TP.... faster than some small jets hehe.. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
August 3, 201213 yr Right you are, Ryan. The long range cruise settings will come in slower than my Citation Mustang while consuming some 30% less fuel (430 lbs/hr vs 680). But the recommended cruise settings will then lead to much higher speeds, as shown on the above screenshot, with the fuel burn being on par with the Mustang. At FL310, the long range cruise yields some 290 KTAS vs. 340 on the Mustang. But with the recommended cruise power on the P180, you head for 380 KTAS, so that's a 40 knot gain at the same fuel. This is one of the best frewares I've ever downloaded. I couldn't agree more with you.
August 3, 201213 yr Commercial Member Again thanks for the comments! It looks like I'm going to try to make an "HD pack" for the FS-X edition! I'll include an optional to install model without passenger, and maybe a couple more fixes if I find anything!

August 3, 201213 yr Started having a weird problem with this bird. I have followed the checklist for take-off and half-way down the runway the left and right bleed temperature warning lights come on followed shortly after by the left and right engine oil pressure warning lights. about 100 ft off the ground as I'm turning around land both engines catch fire. This is weird as at just started happening. I thought it might be something in the default flight I loaded with the Cessna 172 so I deleted and created a new one. Same problem. No failures are on in FSX for anything. Any ideas? Chris Magnus HR Manager Air Jamaica Virtual Airlines and Cargo (http://www.airjamaicavirtualairlinesandcargo.org)

To avoid it toasting, just cud down on power a bit. Stay below 830oC to be safe! if they catched fire, you have been pushing them hard for quite some time!

I'll include an optional to install model without passenger, and maybe a couple more fixes if I find anything! Sounds great, Mario. Keep us posted. Nice detail reading about the bleed air warnings and things. Currently running her from Hobart to NZ, FL350 and some nice speeds again. Looks like those 1000+nm are an easy catch for her since the fuel isn't a problem at all, plenty left.
August 3, 201213 yr Sounds great, Mario. Keep us posted. Nice detail reading about the bleed air warnings and things. Going from LA to Seattle now myself and having a ball. Whats really interesting is that I've never experienced this kind a realism in my other favorite payware planes. The more I fly this plane is the more I like it. Oh yeah, climbing through FL260 now and ITT's are in the low 700's. Balls to the wall Chris Magnus HR Manager Air Jamaica Virtual Airlines and Cargo (http://www.airjamaicavirtualairlinesandcargo.org)
August 3, 201213 yr Well, that was a nice flight into NZQN. Nice approaches! I can describe my concerns on the altitude selector in some more detail. Means I've found out why it confuses me at times and works fine at others. There is a small area where any mouse wheel turning will only decrease the altitude. And that's in steps of 1000ft. Just a few millimetres to the left and right of the marked area everything is fine and the usual logics are in place. But if one gets over that small yellow part, it only goes downwards. When operating in the VC, I seem to come across that area at times, so my mouse wheel turning gives me some freaky altitudes, just depending on the actual location of the pointer. Keep in mind that I'm using TrackIR and EZCA, so the usual VC view of mine isn't static. Try it, the area is small, but it's there.

Agreed... there are a few "oddities" with the clickspots... but I don't mind that much. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
August 4, 201213 yr I hope you all won't mind some fan-inspired image posting... First though, a hearty "Thank You!" to the author (Mario Noriega) for the Piaggio P-180 model. I am very impressed with it, and thoroughly enjoy flying it. Some recent images I took while flying this aircraft (these are thumbnails, click each to view the original .png image at 1680x1050) : And looking over my virtual shoulder into the cabin area I see we have a guest on board... ... and we also have a unique visitor as well! (That's Kirby, of Nintendo fame. His main thing is to inhale enemies and take on their attributes <or so my daughter tells me!> ) "Sandy"
