Best 3PD Cessna 172?

Once RealAir releases their 172, it will be THE 172 to fly. I can't comment on the Flight1 172 though.

So until RealAir releases their 172, which one is THE 172 to fly? :P

you take the default cessna, merge the aircraft.cfg and fde file from the RealAir C172 and then add in the TSS sounds. maybe throw in Accu-Feel as well.

see the previous discussion about the C172, Robert Young from RealAir chips in too

Carenado's C172 isn't bad, from what I've seen, IF you want a 160HP 172.

Otherwise, if you want a 180HP 172...

Default MS 172 + Realair's FS2004 .air file update + Ismail's Damage/Systems mod (http://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=C172+Damage&CatID=root&Go=Search)

It isn't as good as a decent 3rd party 172S would be, but it's actually not too bad.

This is what I did a long time ago (with the more recent addition of Accu-Feel) and it's doing the job until RealAir releases their's.

I just wanted to agree with others: merge the free FS9 real air AIR file with the default 172. The TSS sound files are pretty good although it crackles in my cockpit sounds but is perfect in exterior views. I also recommend the 2008 and 2009 free skins you can find -- I believe they're either located in the file library here or the OZ library. I'm not at my computer so can't look it up easily.

And then wait for the new 172 by RealAir and also keep an eye on A2A for its 172.

realair build the plane and A2A then add the systems simulation..

Realair/A2A 172.. Best of bothe worlds..!

Well then. Look here! There's another 172 on the horizon!

Cheers, Bert
