August 30, 201213 yr Hopefully my previous comment did not come across as negative one. Not at all, I agree actually the null zone was a little too big, I'd changed the profile a few weeks ago to make it a little better around the centre point, as I was having to move my head a little too much before movement registered in the sim. Hopefully this new version will be a little more to your liking. Cheers, Andy.
August 30, 201213 yr Without straying off topic too much, when I use FSX in Eyefinity, although it is totally amazing, at night I get a massive glow in the distance from all the lights, (I fly around EGLL a lot) in fact all the lights at night seem to just be too big and glow too much which is a big shame. I use a resolution off 5800*1080 sorry to bring it up here. With TIR and my other profile it's just the bees knees but not on a single monitor. August 31, 201213 yr Author I think you have to right click on the TIR button in the EZ console and it takes you to a special menu where one of the options allows you to adjust the time allowed to pass before EZdok resets the camera view to its preset home position. You can even turn it off altogether so the view stays where you paused it. Thanks i will do that this will for sure run very nice .That is all needed to finish my track ir tweaking. August 31, 201213 yr See this article: http://flightcontrols.org/blog/fix-fsx-overy-fuzzy-bright-big-runway-lights/ Thanks, had a quick read and it sounds very promising, I'll give it a go over the weekend.
September 1, 201213 yr See this article: http://flightcontrols.org/blog/fix-fsx-overy-fuzzy-bright-big-runway-lights/ I'm all smiles that did the trick perfectly thank you.
September 1, 201213 yr I'm all smiles that did the trick perfectly thank you. Just be sure to save a copy of the new halo.bmp file somewhere -- some mods install their own version and you might find yourself with big, blurry lights again on your triple-screen setup.

September 3, 201213 yr I follow this topic as i have my self some really good and annoying situation about Track IR+Ezca. I have V4 Hardware but use V 5 software with Seth - Flight profile but when I looking to the pedestal things get crazy with the view changing and jumping very fast. I imagine is a problem of the TrackClip maybe i should buy TrackClipPro does it change something in this matter?
September 3, 201213 yr The pause or null at the centre is there to give your neck a rest, without it you have to keep your head very still when trying to manipulate stuff in the VC with a mouse and your neck will start to ache pretty quickly with it setup like that. Give this new profile below a try it's completely rebuilt and is made for FSX primarily and the nulls are smaller. I have disabled Roll mode completely in this profile as it makes looking down to the left and right a lot more accurate and less likely to gimble lock (stick) as I call it. I sit about 60cm away from the TIR camera with this profile but it should still work fine closer than this. https://dl.dropbox.c...ndydigital2.zip One other point Trueview is disabled in this profile too as I use it with EZdok Camera, if you don't use that program then place a tick in the Trueview box. Andy, what is your zoom setting while in VC? Eric
September 3, 201213 yr The resolution is 1920 x 1200 24inch screen and the zoom is around 0.54 I think, it depends on the aircraft. 0.70 is as high as I go though. Wideaspect=true is set in the FSX.cfg too. Cheers, Andy.

I always tnight a zoom of 1.00 gave you a true view? Eric
September 3, 201213 yr To be honest Eric I choose a zoom level that allows me to get a good wide FOV, but not zoomed so far out that I can't read text on glass instruments. EZdok helps somewhat with that though as I can easily make new views that allow me to quickly zoom over to a gauge or panel for a better view. Realism isn't my priority when setting a view up, good situational awareness is. Cheers, Andy.
