These came from two consecutive flights I did that I recommend, regardless of sim, for anyone who'd like something relaxing. That's why I did it, since I've been dealing with a bit of stress out there in the real world. Some of it was handflown, and some was with AP while I kicked back sipping coffee and watching the scenery go by. Pretty much everything I enjoy about simming, though the weather did prove to be a wee bit of a nail biter.

I took off from Pierce Co./Thun Field (1S0) and headed northeast, over Auburn, WA and towards Snoqualmie. Passing Rattlesnake mountain, I turned east and followed I-90 through the pass. As I approached Cle Elum, I considered heading north to Chelan, but ended up getting socked in. I decided to go IFR for real, and set down at KEAT in Wenatchee to see if the weather would let up. It did a little bit, so I switched to the Goose and headed north along the Chelan river to Chelan, then followed Lake Chelan north west until I passed Stehekin State airport, where I turned direct to Darrington Municipal Airport. I overflew, then turned direct to KPAE and put down for the evening. Great scenery, interesting weather, and all an all, a very zen-like flight. Highly recommended!

Great shots, but #1 is my favorite

nebojsa.

Yeah, I thought I remembered you were flying X=Plane. I hate that dang X-Plane because of its' over the top great wx depiction. In other words, great shots.

I very recently bought the X10 and spend a reasonable amount of time setting it up. I have to admit that I struggle with it and doubt if I'm going back to it anytime soon, except for when I see this kind of shots I'm really attempted. Good job.

Interesting thing I just realized. That "weather" I ran into over Cle Elum might have been X-Plane's representation of the forest fires going on over there at the time.

Thanks, gentlemen!
