October 19, 201213 yr Ok this might sound dumb but does the plane come with the RXP 530 or do I have to buy the RXP then use the installer?? As Bert noted you do not have to buy the RXP product unless you want to add it as an upgrade. The plane comes with two of the Carenado 530 units. Some pilots use them, and other prefer to use the RXP product which you would have to buy and it gets expensive when you want to have two RXP units since you have to buy thier "interface" software too. October 19, 201213 yr Also wondering, how to install second unit. I bought the unlimited package but do not have knowledge of how to install these units as I use the installers provided by realair/carenado. But carenado doesn't seems to have dual integration. Kind regards, Stefan Sondermann
October 19, 201213 yr "...Having said that, RealAir does fully support dual GNS installation...." Yes, I have all the RealAir birds and really like the ability to move instrument installs around easily without having to splash around in the code over and over. From a competitive viewpoint, you would think that Carenado would have caught on by now. Thanks. Bob Magill

I would open up the panel.cfg with Notepad and replace all instances of the Carenado GNS530_2 gauges by rxpgns!gns530_2 Bert
October 19, 201213 yr That's strange that the second one has to be installed manually. If I recall the Baron has the option to install one or both gns430s when you run the installer. Maybe this is not the same with the B200 and gns530s? Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk 2
October 19, 201213 yr OK - I got my copy... First of all, a repeat of earlier Carenado efforts, you need to turn off Instrument Reflections for clickspots to work on any of the glass instruments, including the GNSs.. Then popups start to work.. Bert

Hi Bert ----- Well, this is what I suspected would happen. I will be interested in what else you find and your overall opinion. Thanks --- Bob B) Bob Magill

Allot of the very same model and type of machine's in our plants have different combinations to make them work.
