October 18, 201213 yr Any idea how to plug in the RXP 530 instead of the default Carenado 530? Thanks Mike Just run the app that is in the aircraft folder it's called RXP 530 or something close, you will know it when you see it. Not sure if you can replace both with the RXP 530, it replaced the left one when I did it.
October 18, 201213 yr There should be a install program in the b200 folder that will do it for you. You can replace both I believe but you have to buy the unlimited upgrade for 100$ from reality xp. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk 2
October 18, 201213 yr As mentioned, run the included RXP530.exe file which swaps-out the left unit with the RXP 530W. You can always add the line LinkGPS=On in the rxpgns.ini file and you'll get your flight plan transferred to the second, default 530 as well as the Avidyne EX500. With that, it's a lot harder for me to justify the $100 RXP unlimited pack... Trevor Bair CMEL+IR | PA32R-301T & C208BMy Real World Travels
October 18, 201213 yr Author Thanks everyone. I have unlimited pack from RXP. I will do the swap shortly. Regards, Mike Best regards, Mike
October 18, 201213 yr Would like to add a pop-up window for the RXP 530, is there a simple way to do that? Thanks - Martin
October 18, 201213 yr Unlimited is pricey. And, if CrossFill is your only requirement, then V1VrV2 just made your day by sharing the link connection option. U da man! That's what is so good about these forums. If anyone wants info on RXP Unlimited - go here. http://www.reality-xp.com/flightsim/gns-unlimited/index.html . Cheers, Mark
October 19, 201213 yr Can't seem to find this file, is it a hidden file? Looked everywhere using search? rxpgns.ini file Thanks - Martin Thanks - Martin

October 19, 201213 yr Can't seem to find this file, is it a hidden file? Looked everywhere using search?rxpgns.ini file If, in addition to running the Carenado-supplied installer, you use the RXP Config program to add/configure the GNS530, it will (I think, at that time) be created at that time in the root /SimObjects/(Airplane name) folder. October 19, 201213 yr Hello All --- trying to sort out what the provided installer will do. I have the RXP Unlimited package installed. Given that, does the Carneado B200 installer offer the option to install two (2) RXP 530s ??? I do not yet have the B200. Thanks --- Bob :Big Grin: Bob Magill
October 19, 201213 yr I believe the Carenado installer will install the first 530. The second 530, you have to install by hand, by editing the panel.cfg file. Basically you replace all instances of the Carenado 530_2 by the rxpgns!gns530_2 gauge. Bert
October 19, 201213 yr Hi Bert --- Thanks for the feedback. OK, then it is a manual process for the second unit. That surprises me given the price point of this plane. Regards. Bob :Big Grin: Bob Magill
October 19, 201213 yr Ok this might sound dumb but does the plane come with the RXP 530 or do I have to buy the RXP then use the installer?? ATP MEL,CFI,CFII,MEI. Type Ratings B-737, ERJ-190,ERJ-170
October 19, 201213 yr You have to buy the Reality XP GNS separately. Hi Bert --- Thanks for the feedback. OK, then it is a manual process for the second unit. That surprises me given the price point of this plane. Regards. Bob :Big Grin: Not that many people have the RXP Unlimited package ($100) which is required to run dual 530s.. so this is somewhat of an option for "enthusiasts" only.. who typically are knowlegeable about installing RXP units. Having said that, RealAir does fully support dual GNS installation. Bert
