January 7, 201313 yr G'day Maarten, I am the bloke with the wrong, now missing aircraft problem. In desperation I uninstalled SL and reinstalled. I did not fill in the FSX section but double checked the P3D options. I have version 6.2 installed. Now all my Quality Wings BAe Series are missing from the list of aircraft both from the listing and the thumbs. They are there OK via the P3D GUI. Cheers, Mac Cheers, Mac
January 7, 201313 yr @Ost: you need to download makerwys (http://fsuipc.simflight.com/beta/MakeRunways_4614.zip), unzip, copy the makerwys.exe file into your Prepar3D folder and run it. @Mac: please e-mail me the simlauncher.ini file, the simlauncher.log file (both in SimLauncher's installation folder) and the aircraft.cfg file(s) of the aircraft that you have a problem with. thanks, Maarten Maarten Boelens ([m][a:][R][t][ʏ][n]) Developer of SimLauncherX
January 7, 201313 yr Hi Maarten What a delight to return home to find you have posted up the fix. Apologies if I should have found the answer online elsewhere as a pre-exisiting condition. Anyway cured me so very happy with your speedy and swift response as well as the marvellous app alround. Keep the updates coming and shame those L-M programmers! Ost
January 7, 201313 yr Maarten, Hi I would like to thank you finding the solution for P3D launch. Yesterday, I dowloaded and installed SimLauncher. Unfortunetly after the first screen (Please see below) I cant find SimLauncher, I know I am doing something wrong. Will you please advise how I can solve this problem. http://img716.images...3/p3dlaunch.jpg I also left post in LM Prepar3D forum. Thanks Sanal Ahmet Sanal "Time you enjoyed wasting, was not wasted"
January 7, 201313 yr Hi Sanal, You have set your FSX installation folder to the Prepar3D folder. Please correct that and try again. If FSX is not installed on your machine, uncheck 'FSX Installed'. thanks, Maarten Maarten Boelens ([m][a:][R][t][ʏ][n]) Developer of SimLauncherX
January 7, 201313 yr I uninstalled FSX. and reinstall Launcher. I checked Prepar3D and cliked Save. Recived the follwing error: http://img20.imagesh.../p3dlaunch1.jpg Ahmet Sanal "Time you enjoyed wasting, was not wasted"
January 7, 201313 yr Hi Sanal, You need to download the latest version of makerwys.exe (4.614), copy this program to your Prepar3D folder and run. thanks, Maarten Maarten Boelens ([m][a:][R][t][ʏ][n]) Developer of SimLauncherX
January 7, 201313 yr Where shall I get 4.614? I checked Peter Dowson web page and dowloaded 4.612. I didnt see 4.614. "copy this program to your Prepar3D folder and run." Which Prepar3D's file I will copy it? Thanks Ahmet Sanal "Time you enjoyed wasting, was not wasted"
January 7, 201313 yr Put the 4.612 in the root folder: ex. C:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D\ - then run that file as administrator and you're done. January 7, 201313 yr Thanks Tom. It is woking. Ahmet Sanal "Time you enjoyed wasting, was not wasted"
January 7, 201313 yr Hi Sanal, The website you went to is not the website of Pete Dowson, it is the website of Enrico Schiratti that hosts some of Pete Dowson's files. You need to go to the official support forum (http://forum.simflight.com/forum/30-fsuipc-support-pete-dowson-modules/) and download 4.614 from the downloads area (http://fsuipc.simflight.com/beta/MakeRunways_4614.zip). As Tom has said above: unzip this file, copy the makerwys.exe file to your Prepar3D folder (e.g. C:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D\) and then run this makerwys.exe program as administrator. SimLauncher will work with 4.612, but It is better to install 4.614, because with 4.614 you will get much better positioning on the runways. thanks, Maarten P.S.: you will have to have some patience, because the SimFlight forums are currently unreachable Maarten Boelens ([m][a:][R][t][ʏ][n]) Developer of SimLauncherX
January 8, 201313 yr Maarten, I dowloaded and installed 4.614. SimLauncher is working. I will make my first flight. Thanks Sanal  Ahmet Sanal "Time you enjoyed wasting, was not wasted"
January 8, 201313 yr Hello Maarten, I've been using SimLauncher in FSX and it is extremely useful, thank you for your time and effort. I'd like to make a request, if I may? I've been using Tom Tsui's FlyZone Switcher which basically creates geographical zones with their own scenery, fsx and dll config files. Full details are here http://fsxtimes.wordpress.com/category/flyzone/ Would you possibly consider something similar for SimLauncher please? thanks in advance Paul Paul Dumke
January 8, 201313 yr Hi Paul, I'm aware of Tom Tsui's FlyZone approach. I do have an idea about how to implement something similar, but it is no easy task. It will therefor probably take some time before that will be finished. Thanks, Maarten. Maarten Boelens ([m][a:][R][t][ʏ][n]) Developer of SimLauncherX
