Ok here's another one on the zombie theme. But.. different.

That's exactly what I was thinking, I guess Hollywood makes a lot of money picking on poor ol' New York.

Cheers

Well, it used to be Tokyo, as Godzilla and all the rest used to head right there, kinda like hurricanes and trailer parks.

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.

I like it when Hollywood places a 'global threat' in movies. To do this, they show that London, Paris and perhaps Moscow are affected too. So every city gets a 2 second scene or so. Yeah, don't demand too much from the viewers. Are there any other cities by the way?

Well, Los Angeles gets trashed a lot, too.

Ok, if that's the case, it's actually a universal threat. We may need asymmetrical ships to solve it. :Peace:

Which brings up another point. Nothing attacks Canada, not even the Kilrathi......... :P

If you want to survive the Zombie apocalypse, head for Canada right away.

I was discussing this with my son today. He says it's a followup on the Zombie Survival Guide, so it is indeed zombies.

Here's a link to info on the book:

And after the script was re-written multiple times, the movie has little to nothing to do with the book beyond the title. For those who haven't read the book, it written in a documentary style format with "interviews" of people after the zombie apocalypse is over. Unlike most zombie movies that deal with one small group at the start of apocalypse, this one covers the entire event from beginning to end across the whole world. The book also tries to be a little more realistic than any zombie movie currently released in how events would occur, other than the part about zombies. It's a good book if you're into zombies.

Oh, and for those on islands thinking you would be safe, in this book you definitely are not. And neither is Canada.

Still quite haven't got the 'rag doll' or gravity right when doing cg people en-mass.

Always ruins it.

There are a few movies that get it right, but few and far between.

Someone also said the Easter Bunny isn't real, but that's just a vicious Rumour, don't believe it!.

I love looking at those "maps of targets" type things you see in the background of those disaster/terrorists/whatever type films. Always in some fancy overly-complex technological "command center".

I always tried to pick out Canadian cities...Normally what I thought would be a Canadian city was typically Seattle or Detriot. I do remember...I think it's in Deep Impact or something...that "RED DEER" was prominently placed.

As a younger lad when nuclear strife was still kind of a thought, I remember having pretty deep discussions with the old man about how the plan was to jump on the Twin Otter and make our way to Resolute. No nuclear nation would have the guts to nuke us so close to the ice-cap we thought.

Considering the large number of films made in Canada, it is possible the Zombies are a Canadian Conspiracy, they always show devastation in the USA (or US type cities) even though they are filmed in Canada, LOL

All of those Resident Evil movies where filmed in Toronto, Dawn of the Dead was filmed in Thornhill, Ontario, Fido filmed in British Columbia.......etc etc etc

I knew there was something suspicious about Canada, Matthew. I just knew it. :Worried: I just hope NZ is safer for you. Wait!
