A2A Civilian Mustang Released!

Wings of POWER 3: Civilian Mustang is released

NOTE:

Even though this aircraft was just released, you must still download and apply the latest Accu-Sim core update after installing the Accu-Sim pack for this aircraft.

------------------------------------

We are proud to announce our latest Wings of POWER aircraft, the P-51 Civilian Mustang. Perhaps Mitchell Glicksman put it best when he said, “This is a Mustang for the people.”

We did a lot of thinking about how best to manage this release with our continued commitment to keep the installation as simple as possible, and also to continue to take care of our customers.

The first big move was to make the existing P-51 Accu-Sim pack on the market compatible with both the Military and Civilian aircraft. We also have put an additional $10 discount that goes both directions, for existing owners of a WoP3 P-51 Mustang. The reason we made this so, is not to force customers to buy something they may not want (some only want the military version and others only want the civilian version). But, no matter which Mustang you may have, you can always get the other for $20.

Along with this release also comes a new Accu-Sim v.1.5 update, that improves all core Accu-Sim aircraft (Spitfire, P-40, P-51 mil and civ).

Details and the download for Accu-Sim v.1.5 can be found HERE:

MOST IMPORTANT:

Always remember, to install any core Accu-Sim aircraft in this order to insure a solid install:

1. Aircraft

2. Accu-Sim Pack

3. Accu-Sim Core update

I hope everyone enjoys A2A’s newest creation.

It's unfortunate they weren't able to contact JL from RXP - the GNS430W would have fit perfectly with native 3D bezel...

Other than that it looks nice!

yes i am signed in and a valid user.

Flying Bob, our forums and support areas are all wide opened for guests to view, so not sure why this would be happening. Is anyone else having an issue viewing this page?

Scott.

i think it is the link thhat was posted . i went to your main forum and from there went to p51 sub form and from there I got to the post no problem.

So,

If we own the Mil version and the Accusim pack, all we do is purchase the civi model, install the airplane, install again the accusim pack for the mil p-51, then the update?

Yes, you don't need to buy another Accu-Sim pack, the existing P-51 Accu-Sim is good for both aircraft.

Always in this order:

1. Aircraft

2. Accu-Sim Pack

3. Accu-Sim Core Update

This insures a solid install.

Agreed - I'm looking for some screen shots - I only see that cockpit one on their site.

If I get this I will have to use TrackIR again. I just cannot taxi these tail draggers without it. I like TrackIR but sometimes it drives me nuts getting the sensitivities set up right.
