Wow August 2013 - no faith!

When was the 777 first announced? I see posts going back to March 2012. It seems like we are waiting for 2 years now. But it's like looking at water boil - takes so damn long if you fester on it.

umm.... Rob told me it was New Years

No that was just the first preview I think - I read the NGX pre-release topics back sometimes and Rob mentions the 777 quite a lot. So I'd imagine it's been in development maybe nearly two years? No one expected that progress in the March preview.. PMDG are pretty quiet right now, which is normally what happens prior to a big release. They posted a mini update on their Facebook a month ago, sounded promising along with all these previews on their Facebook.

I'm going to book a session with a highly experienced & accurate

future teller/crystal ball/card reader/astrologer, preferably with FSX experience & get the right date

Kind regards

Based on the fact that the NGX was announced for a 2010 release initially, moved to early and then mid 2011, and the T7 was announced initially for a late 2011 release, and 2012 is nearly over, I'm gonna say it will either be here by new years, or before the end of january, with the 747 V2 before September

FS2004 Forever

Be nice to have it for my 2 week holiday break in December.

Wishful thinking...

With my luck it'll be out right after my break and no marathon LR flights for me.

Put it this way mate, if it's going to release this year then it'll be in the next three weeks. I highly doubt PMDG will be working Christmas week, dealing with peoples installation problems ha! Everyone, I mean everyone will disagree with me and say it's impossible that it'll come in the next three weeks. But one has hope ... You can either be one to compare all of this to other releases, or be optimistic ^_^

Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)

The bird haven't even entered "beta" stage, afaik PMDG always announces "beta" & the beta takes minimum 1 month (if we're extremely lucky), but my guess is 2 months. They will never drop the 777 like a bomb ready for sale! It wouldn't be beneficial businesses or marketing wise.

So without any "beta stage" you can forget guessing any realistic release date!

Kind regards

this waiting sucks  I'm loseing interest

No offence, but they could care less about losing 1 sale due to impatience since thousands of people will still buy it.

Oh really? Losing any sale for any reason is not good for business.
