December 14, 201213 yr If you want smaller aircraft try these Lionheart Creations, A2A Simulations (some of the best), RealAir Sim, if you have more computer resources (a fairly upscale computer) try Flight1 for their Cessna 182T and Cessna Mustang light jet. If you are looking for a place to call home with your GA aircraft (get ready, blatant commercialism and self promotion ahead) try Greenbrier Virtual Aviation the VA for and about the GA pilot. Dan George (woodhick)Check out Greenbrier Aero Club, the VA for and about the GA pilot.
December 14, 201213 yr If the addons you are downloading and installing add gauges to your FSX.cfg file I always make a note of these, incase I want to delete the a/c and delete these lines from the .cfg file; So as not to clogg it. I also keep a safe clean file "Just In Case" berlopez
December 14, 201213 yr If you wanted to try an airliner and don't want to get bogged down with alot of learning, what about the Quality Wings 757.............Great sounds too! Smaller General Aviation Planes then Carenado do great ones as someone above has already said. I have three from them, Cessna 172, single prop, Cessna 340 twin Prop and Cessna 208 Turbo prop..............although I had a problem with the door manager on this one, but there is a fix for it here somewhere. Happy Flying, Dave Phillips.
December 15, 201213 yr I found this file sometime ago, it greatly improved the sounds of the default Baron 58...Really... Cape_Baron_58 berlopez
December 15, 201213 yr If you are on a budget then have a look at the Carenado sale, decent quality planes and a decent price. G Gary Davies aka "Gazzareth" Simming since 747 on the Acorn Electron
December 15, 201213 yr Thanks for all the good advice. I will look into a plane on Carenado. Suggest reading this.. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/394027-carenado-aircraft/ Bert
December 16, 201213 yr It has been my experiece whenever I buy payware I get advertized files, that lack something or other? Then come Service packs...And I find myself editting more than actually flying them or eventually dumppping them on to memory sticks and see if at some foreseable future they get better or actually complete. ie feelthere, legacy, Citation X ( Wilco).Their support isn't worth the money spent. (I don't mean to Bad Mouth anyone here). Other freeware like PAD do an excellent job, though they stopped productionand developement as theire main designers have passed away. Theire site is styill open, have an excellent support page wher they have though of every possible scenario, and they work Being in a budget is just not worth the risk of starting an internet fight when one knows the money is spendt and well gone. berlopez
December 16, 201213 yr If you want something without service packs, buy from RealAirSimulations... their aircraft are complete and as perfect as it gets in FSX. Bert
