December 15, 201213 yr Hi there, some years ago I've purchased all the georender sceneries (Rangers creek, Flying M, Darringtin, Forks, Strom, Sultan, Orcas Island and so) on simmarket and enjoyed it very much. Then there came FSX with all it's new possibilitys and it's squirks. Today I like to go back to the good old stuff and it's very special and detailled touch. I bought the Georender Scenery Collection and Emma Field on cd. But I'm missing all the other stuff. Simmarket can't provide me the old files, ther're no cds to buy. And I don't want to download the filles illegally. So guys - is there any place or person to provide me with the georender sceneries? I would pay the orignal price for these pieces. Can't accept it's gone forever in my FS9 installation. Thanks a lot in advance! Denis
December 15, 201213 yr If you bought the sceneries already, how can there be a problem? You mean you don't keep backups of stuff you purchased? Even though Lago (the original distributor) no longer exists, it is still possible to install these sceneries (I've done it a few times with new PC installations). Graeme Butler

Also found a post from Francois that Goldstein left the business and didn't want the stuff sold anymore from FSAddon. However, i did find a link where some of its being sold still. Not sure if these are the ones you are missing, but its worth a look, http://www.flightstore.co.uk/flight-simulation-c8/georender-scenery-collection-for-fs2004-p2828 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

Some people don't make backups - fact. You say it is still possible to install these sceneries but you don't give any link(s). You're not thinking of torrent sites are you? David

David I think he was saying that you could still INSTALL them , (or re-install them), if you already have them. (ie You had purchased them in the past, and saved them / backed them up) There was no suggestion of Torrents -- The OP clearly stated he was looking for the rest of the Scenery set, that he did not have, and wanted to obtain/purchase them legally.
December 16, 201213 yr Author Guys, I've bought them a long time ago at simmarket but I don't have any backups or s.th. else. Besides Georender Scenery Collection DVD (just few of the georender sceneries) you can't buy them any more. Yes, you're right: I don't want to download them illegaly. I'll try to contact the guys who created or published the pieces. Just wanted to ask if anybody had success getting them legally the last years? Denis
December 18, 201213 yr Hello: The LAGO installers were stated in the manuals to be freely and legally re-distributable by end users. However one must have the LAGO-type serial / key code e-mailed to buyers after purchases of those packages direct from LAGO Online, or via simMarket ...in order to use those installers. You should be able to both receive a confirming copy of your serial code, and IIRC, also re-download the installers via a link supplied from simMarket ...if you inquire about this via e-mail. As to acquiring confirmation of serial / key codes and/or installer files for other previously purchased packages in the FS-Addon "New World" Georender series, AFAIK, they should also be available via a link supplied from FS-Addon ...if you inquire about this via e-mail. BTW: if FS-Addon for some reason no longer has the installers available, just get your serial from Francois, and you can get the installer elsewhere, as the installer works similar to the LAGO installer: you must have a serial / key code in order to complete the installation. So, if you have your serial / key code for the LAGO installers on hand, anyone can send you the installer files, or post them on ex: MediaFire, DropBox etc. so you can once again enjoy those sceneries. Remember as well, that there were several subsequent FS2004 Georender packages which Richard Goldstein sold via his own website for a few years before the closed his web site down; I am not certain if Richard can still be reached to provide ongoing service for such purhased packages. AFAIK, the only remaining Georender packages available for purchase are old "overstock" CDs left in warehouses such as may exist in the holdings of FlightStore, JustFlight, PC-Aviator etc.. Hope this helps ! B) GaryGB

December 19, 201213 yr Hello again: Some more history and fun reading ...for Richard Goldstein's Georender and Emma Field sceneries:  Flight1 - Georender scenery by Richard Goldstein Georender Escalante (1L7) - Hurricane (IL8) http://www.zoominfo....tName=Goldstein LAGO - (originally available as downloads via lagosim.com, then lagoonline.com and/or simMarket) BTW: Georender "numbers" used herein are based on original 'release' and/or file dates for those scenery packages Georender-1 Ranger Creek (21W) & Flying M Ranch (OR05) http://www.avsim.com...r/georender.htm Georender-2 Escalante Municipal (1L7), Bryce Canyon (KBCE) = FS2004 aka "FS9" only; - Also included: Hurricane (IL8) = FS2002 aka "FS8" only NOTE: For Georender-2, LAGO acquired rights to this product from Flight1 and upgraded it for FS9 http://www.flightsim...And-Georender-2 GeoRender-3 Diamond Point (2WA1) http://www.flightsim...content.php?911 http://www.flightsim...And-Georender-3 GeoRender-4 Darrington Municipal (1S2) http://www.flightsim...content.php?912 GeoRender-5 Forks (S18) http://www.flightsim...r-4-5-Sceneries Georender-6 Morton-Sultan (39P) & Strom-Sky Harbor (S86) http://www.flightsim...And-GeoRender-6 FSAddon - Georender "New World Series" product line by Richard Goldstein (...et al) NOTE: Originally available via http://fsaddon.eu/wpfsaddon/ (and/or simMarket ...but now): :( < "Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete." > Georender-7 Orcas Island (KORS) http://www.flightsim...25-Orcas-Island Georender-8 Wenatchee (27W) & Skykomish (S88) http://www.flightsim...orender-Scenery Georender.com (Richard Goldstein's web site is off-line; IIRC, these products were downloadable only via simMarket) BTW: Georender "numbers" used arbitrarily hereafter are based on original file dates for those scenery packages Georender-9 Chelan Muni (S10) http://secure.simmar...elan-muni.phtml http://www.flightsim...der-Chelan-Muni http://www.avsim.com...elan/Chelan.htm Georender-10 Alaska Cinematic Volume 1 http://secure.simmar...tic-vol-1.phtml http://www.fspilotsh...lume-p-788.html http://www.avsim.com.../0605/AK/AK.htm Georender-10 Alaska Cinematic Volume 2 http://secure.simmar...tic-vol-2.phtml http://www.fspilotsh...lume-p-790.html Georender-11 US Park Series - Grand Teton http://secure.simmar...and-teton.phtml http://www.avsim.com...ark/NatPark.htm Georender-12 US Park Series - Yellowstone = FSX only http://secure.simmar...llowstone.phtml Georender-13 US Park Series - Yosemite / Mono Lake - Included airports: Bryant Field (KO57), Lee Vining (KO24) - Mammoth (KMMH) = FS9 and FSX http://secure.simmar...mono-lake.phtml LAGO - Scenery by Richard Goldstein (...et al); < ...not 'officially' referred to by LAGO as a "Georender" product > LAGO - Emma Field for FS2002 http://www.avsim.com...emma_field.html LAGO - Emma Field for FS2004 FYI: "EMMA_Patch_2004_100.zip" was a 'free' update to FS2004 version for Emma Field - FS2002 owners which required the serial / key code from Emma Field - FS2002 (e-mailed after purchase by LAGO or simMarket) -to install completely. This was not a 'patch', but actually a COMPLETE install of Emma Field FS2004 (...which replaced one's FS2002 version entirely). http://www.flightsim...ield-For-FS2004 http://www.flightsim...content.php?685 <.See this post for info on the above freely downloadable installer of Emma Field 2004 ! > http://forum.simflig...ns/#entry434958 PS: To "archive" a copy of the above linked web pages for personal use (only) on one's own computer: FireFox Menu > File > Save Page As > Save As Type: "Web Page , Complete (*.htm; *.html)" MS Internet Explorer Menu > Page > Save As > Save As Type: > "Webpage, Complete *.htm(*.htm; *.html)" NOTE: If a archived web page opened in one's default web browser is covered up by a black area <Ex: Forum web pages archived from "Community Forum Software by IP.Board" > FireFox: a.) FireFox Menu > Tools > Options > Content > 'un-check' "Enable Javascript"; click "OK" b.) Web Page should now be fully visible on "off-line" mode after refreshing that page via the < F5 > key If the web page opens in MS Internet Explorer (aka "MSIE"), IIRC, 'disable' "Active Scripting" in Security settings (to disable Javascript) would be the equivalent to the procedure used for FireFox. MSIE: a.) MSIE Menu > Tools > Internet Options > Security Tab > "Custom" Button > Settings > Scripting > disable "Active Scripting"; click "OK" b.) Web Page should now be fully visible in "off-line" mode after refreshing that page via the < F5 > key Hope this contributes some enjoyable FS nostalgia, and inspires more happy flying for all who read this !
