Carenado 'Wish List'

Featured Replies

I would love to see Carenado make an Otter with a radial (DHC-3). I've looked across the web for an FSX otter and found nothing.

Another plane that's fascinating is Beechcraft's Starship. The cockpit has a lot of glass but I don't believe that glass had anything like the functionality of the G1000.

If you go to the Real Aviation Pictures forum, I have a couple of pics I took of a Starship at the Pima Air and Space Museum last weekend.  I agree, it's a very cool aircraft.

I second the vote someone made earlier for an Avanti.  Carenado could do a good job on that aircraft.  I have the FSD Avanti for FS9 and it's one of my favorite aircraft for that sim.

Cast another vote for an Avanti.

Mario Noriega has a very nice freeware Avanti in the AVSIM library but I know Carenado would make a gorgeous P180. The 1st gen Avanti's did not have much in the way of glass unlike the Avanti II so I'm sure the panel would be easy for them to do.

Looks kind of like the C90..

If you're referring to Manuel Noriega's, its freeware  :P

It's very nice for freeware and is better than a number of payware planes I've bought. Just watch the outside and ITT temps on takeoff as you will lose an engine pretty easily if you're not on top of them.  B)

I just found out that Milviz is doing an Avanti...straight from milviz himself.

Yeah that will surely be top notch

They're doing an Avanti II with the ProLine 21 and UNS-1K.

Add to that the MU-2, the King Air 350, (both also in progress) and a possible Learjet down the road.

I've been hankering after a nice Cessna 177B Cardinal II with RealityXP integration for ages. It seems to be an ideal aircraft for doing VFR in, excellent visibility, more power than most 172s and looks very sexy for a high wing design.

I know Flight1 did an FSX Cardinal recently (I think it was an update from the old AOPA Cardinal) but it's quite lacklustre graphically (inside and out) which is why I haven't bought it, even at only US$24. Strikes me as being reheated leftovers. The cockpit seems quite far removed from a prototypical 177 too.

Will the Carenado T206H be a glass or steam gauge bird? Please steam!
