January 22, 201313 yr LOL, is that english? Good lord, reads like a freshman calculus lecture or something.
January 22, 201313 yr Author I tried my best , if you open the boxes you should see the graphs for each lot of settings & the setting circles that you have to drag to where you want them. I was going to put the ini file in drop box , I clicked the link provided by rcitguy, but it wanted to install software on my pc , my pc is fsx & fsx related software only so I didn't install it . The only other thing I can try is use frapps screen capture & post the pictures here . Sorry if my settings don't make any sense to those who try to read them.
Paul Sleight
January 23, 201313 yr Hi guys, thank you for the answers, but problem is even more basic. It seems although facetrack recognises my cam, it will not switch it on! I have to say, I'm stumped. January 23, 201313 yr Hello, Thanks for posting your settings. If it helps, PM your ini file to me and I can upload it to Dropbox? Paul Sent from my cm_tenderloin using Tapatalk HD Paul Dumke
January 23, 201313 yr Saw the Curve options, but that is not the same as sensitivity. By pulling the end points of the curves in/down you can change sensitivity? Mike, do you not see a picture from your webcam in the FTN window? I assume you only have one webcam, and it works in other applications. What type is it? Is it listed as compatible on the FTN website? Sorry if my settings don't make any sense to those who try to read them Think these are settings for 1.7, will not make sense to 1.6 users... Cheers Keith ...
January 23, 201313 yr Author 1.6 is to skittish to be usable in my opinion, sierra hotel , I had that problem , although my op system self installed the drivers facetrack noir wouldn't connect until I put my web cam software on ,& with my pc activating my web cam then facetrack noir connected .
Paul Sleight
January 23, 201313 yr Trouble is, this web cam (Trust Cuby Webcam Pro) does not have any software to install and start it up! So I seem to be stuck at the moment. I did try getting it running through Google, web cam works fine, but I started FacTrack NoIR and still had no luck. Seems to me it needs a file which will start the cam as NoIR starts. by the way I donated and am using 1.7. January 23, 201313 yr Commercial Member By pulling the end points of the curves in/down you can change sensitivity? Mike, do you not see a picture from your webcam in the FTN window? Think these are settings for 1.7, will not make sense to 1.6 users... Cheers Keith Yes, I adjusted the sensitivity, but somehow FaceTrack with 3 point addon doesn't work well with EZDOK at all, flashing camera views all the time, completely off virtual cockpit seating position, etc. Switching back to Freetrack. Current system: ASUS PRIME Z690-P D4, Intel 12900k, 32GB RAM @ 3600mhz, Zotac RTX 3090 Trinity, M2 SSD, Oculus Quest 2.
January 23, 201313 yr You do know that FaceTrackNoIr doesn't need any '3 point addon', in fact any LEDs etc might detract from its functionality... Apologies if I misunderstood your text! Cheers Keith ...
January 23, 201313 yr Commercial Member I know ofcourse, the thing is I have a bad webcamera and a bad lighting in the room, so it's not a good start for face tracking. That;s why I decided to test my hat in FaceTrack, cause Freetrack doesn't work well with EZDOK also. Point Tracker 1.0 beta for FaceTrackNoIR works good without EZDOK though. Current system: ASUS PRIME Z690-P D4, Intel 12900k, 32GB RAM @ 3600mhz, Zotac RTX 3090 Trinity, M2 SSD, Oculus Quest 2.
