January 30, 201313 yr I have a AI repaint for the 737-800 with this paint. Having a few of them on the ramp (KMIA) I must say this livery looks like crap next to AA's older paint. You can sorta see what I mean in screenshot 5 and 8 above. Usually when a livery grows on you you don't have a relapse seeing a few of them side by side and next to the paint it'll replace. January 30, 201313 yr Actually two different paint jobs, Steve's is darker then Chris's and the DFW & JFK departures were in the early morning and late afternoon. Hm. Actually, I think what was making it look modern in those shots was a trick of the lighting. That plane isn't white. Hook Darryl
January 30, 201313 yr Though I dislike the new tail design, the gradient and shine effects of these repaints make such a bland pattern look about as good as it can. Perhaps even more impressive are the nicely colored ground textures.
