I'm curious. How many fellow forum members here are from Poland?. I've been looking around for flight simulator and general aviation forums, and there aren't many which are active. There seems to be some good product recently for Polish simmers, e.g. Drzwiecki design and VFR-Poland, so maybe I'm missing something. Everyone I speak to has no idea even what FSX or X-Plane is.

I reckon it doesn't matter which Country you come as regards flight simming, most people don't know anything about it. In Ireland there are a small few (very quiet) forums but you need to access the International sites to see any real activity.

Warsaw on VATSIM is one of the most controlled airports and airspace in general so I'm guessing there's quite a decent group of Polish simmers around.

I'm in Warsaw.

I am from Poland. And actually, I will be flying today above our capitol

Good to see there are a few, I'm in Zielona Góra, and even our small airport has been well modeled :-). There is some really excellent scenery also for Warsaw from Drzewiecki Design, who've modeled the city and some of the airports in really good detail, excellent for GA flying. It's one of my favorite places for flying at the moment.

 

I've never really used VATSIM, but the community looks really active, so it's definitely worth signing up

As far as Poland in FSX is concerned, I personally highly value all the sceneries by Drzewiecki Design.

There almost always seem to be an active place in non-english speaking countries for simmers to congregate on, in local language. Ireland is different, you guys speak English, might as well go to the internationals.
