Good morning, people.  Is there room here for a new member?

Welcome! There's always room for another Flight aficionado.

BTW, new guys have to buy coffee and donuts...

Thank you for the welcome but, Dang, I just ordered pizza for everybody!

Hi Alan,

That's cool, I'll buy the beer! :drinks:

We're here to have fun  , so you are welcome.

Best regards.

Welcome aboard Alan. We need all the help we can get. We are a diverse group of GA airplane nuts. Near as I can tell, we range from 15 years to the late 60's. Many of us are or were real world pilots, others just looking to learn and have fun. You never stop learning. Don't be afraid to ask questions, some one will have the answer.

Thanks, Luis, that's why I finally decided to join.

Thanks, Steve.  I might list my age as historical and I do hold a pilots license but no medical.  I just can't afford to go "real" flying anymore  .  I've been sneaking around here incognito for a while so I have a pretty good idea what's going on.  Looks like a nice place to hang out.

Welcome Alan,

Enjoy :-)

I heard,   " There are 10 types Of people in the world, Those who understand Binary and those who don't "

I must be the 9th Type.....

Thanks, Guss.  I already have that warm, fuzzy feeling!

Welcome, Alan and Guss.

Make sure you visit the Microsoft Flight Repaints section of the library and pick up some of our members artful works.  The link is also shown to enable you to get the Flight Toolkit too which you will need to install the paints.

Screenshots of flights you make with Microsoft Flight are welcome also. It doesn't matter if it's an aerocache run, mission, job, or just flying around looking at the scenery.

We hope you enjoy our little corner of the flying world.

Thank you.

Rick

Welcome aboard Alan, always great to see new folks in here!

Well I actually was going to suggest you might have a gander at the Flight Tutorial section, which has some pretty good information in there compiled by users here over the months - but for some reason I can't seem to find it now.

Where did that section go gang? I am sure, if it was a snake it probably would have bit me.

Anyways, glad you are here Alan!

Hay Steve, I can take it to early 70's. LOL

Welcome Alan!

I am getting to it. I am getting to it. I have no fingers beyond the first knuckle. Thumbs are a thing of the past, and that makes drinking my coffee a bit of a, er, challenge.

Welcome aboard Alan and Guss. You got warm welcomes? Hmm.. I have to go check the animosity meter... Something ain't right. :Nerd:

Until I can get them back in the menu system, you can find the tutorials here:
