April 2, 201313 yr Author We are so lucky that there are so many in this hobby who are willing to share their efforts with us, be thankful that they are there. It makes no difference to me if it's freeware or payware, I am just glad that it's there. I must say, I agree with you 100% there. April 2, 201313 yr ATR and 747 200. RFPB and F1's 72 are one of the best simulations ever made. F1's ATR-72-500, it is not. Because: http://atr.flight1.net/forums/in-progress-crazy-autopilot_topic5650.html http://atr.flight1.net/forums/topic3858.html
April 2, 201313 yr I forgot about them. Do you think they're still working on it? It looks like they were at least getting somewhere. Lee I want to believe that they're still working on it but I also think they may have dropped the project along the way. The VC shots do look nice though. April 2, 201313 yr It makes no difference to me if it's freeware or payware, I am just glad that it's there.Exactly right. As I noted in an earlier post, quite a few of the planes might be available however not necessesarily to the high standard that many payware models currently exhibit. They do however fill the void, and "high quality" is what you make of it. But as I've been previously admonished for, don't preach the virtue of any aircraft that is not up to the standard of another simmer, especially if it's free or cheap, or you might get told to stick with default planes...(like somehow the cost of your sim hanger contents is a measure of your manhood) Do not judge people until you've walked a mile in their shoes. Then at least you are a mile ahead of them when you ###### them off...
April 2, 201313 yr I'd love to see a high quality A380, DC-10, ERJ-145, and the C-17. Alex Jevdic KORD/KHOT/KPWKA<380 love at first flight

April 2, 201313 yr 'I would like airliner X, cessna/piper Y, military plane Z..etc.'... we all have wishlists, and that is great. If you are ever offered to be a beta tester or involved with an addon project somehow...TAKE THE OFFER! You will begin to really appreciate the immense amount of work going into making just one of these complex FSX addons. Creation in this hobby takes mega dedication and patience, many frustrating hair pulling nights to get some poly to line up or track down some programming bug. Creating just a sailplane is a boatload of work with many nights spent in front of the computer, I can't begin to imagine the work required for a complex airliner. Bottom line, to developers, make whatever excites you, don't worry about our wishlists. April 2, 201313 yr My list: F-105 F-117 B-47 Su-27 or any Su-27 based variant MiG-29 (for FSX. I know there's one for XP) SR-71 (I also know there's one out there for FSX that's supposed to be rather good systems-wise, but I'd like a great cockpit to go with it) I know some of these are actually out there already, and I commend their developers for taking the time to create them when no one else would, but I've yet to see anything that's "super-mega-awesome-high quality", at least with the planes above for FSX.
April 2, 201313 yr Author i'm sure pmdg will make a crj after the 777 and 747 v2 They plan to make a Dash 8, which is cool to hear. We could use more regional aircraft since we already have plenty of heavies and medium-sized AC for FSX. April 2, 201313 yr Of course, I hope before I get TOO old, I see a Gulfstream. If I've ever been in love with a jet....it is this one. I see several fly over my region daily which are owned by some larger corporations here. Just love the look of that bird. Stan
April 3, 201313 yr The problem with the newer bizjets is that their avionics are sooo sophisticated there's no way well see anything like a deep simulation of one anytime soon.
April 3, 201313 yr For the guy who said about the su-27, there is the ALS-SIM su-27. Go to Flight 1, it is good.
