AVSIM Changes

Featured Replies

I no longer see the list of posts I've contributed to or the list of recent poosts at the top of the forum main page.

Is this a result of recent changes?

Do you mean the "Topics I've participated in" and "Recently discussed forum topics"? I still see them (using Firefox 19.0.2).

Florian

Yeah they are both missing for me also in both Chrome and IE.

You mean the hot link box in the top left? I some times get it, and sometimes don't. Can't put any reasoning behind it though.

Do not judge people until you've walked a mile in their shoes. Then at least you are a mile ahead of them when you ###### them off...

On my chrome it doesn't display the star rating of topics right anymore, it still shows 2 stars, then 2 beneath and then the last star beneath again, spaces out the page an awful lot...

Me too

I'm experiencing constant turning on and off of "Recently discussed forum topics:", "Topics I've participated in:" and "We are the faces of the AVSIM Community!" , it's extremely annoying.

Beside that, I have hard time clicking forums button in main menu. When my mouse hover over  forums button, menu pops up and overlays forums button so I cannot click it.

I've just returned and they are now back - they being "Recently discussed forum topics:", and  "Topics I've participated in:"

"We are the faces of the AVSIM Community"  (the Rogues' Gallery) is always here.

I use IE9.

It again disappeared:

And why is it when I have selected to 'Unfollow a Topic' , it still shows up in My Content? It is akin to cookies being left behind,

I don't know Rick. First I have heard of this. Clear your cache and do the usual browser checks.

Doesn't the My Content link show all threads you post in? If so then unfollowing a topic wouldn't remove it from the My Content list if you have posted in said topic?

I should have read Rick's post a little closer. You are absolutely right. MY CONTENT is going to show you your content, regardless of what your notification settings are. There's your answer Rick.

Thank you for that explanation, Tom and Jon. Makes sense.
