What we need to do is convince Boeing to make a Bizjet using all the same systems as their current jumbojets, so there's less work for PMDG to do.

Maybe they could do a biz jet as one of their in between releases like the DC-6 is meant to be, I'm not sure how large the old prop market can be.

Bizjets would be cool, but deliver the BBJ and assorted 737 models first please.

Its not necessarily the aircraft Gulfstream is worried about, its their windows. I was in the hot seat when ESDG was attempting to do a GV.

That's how I perceived the DC-6 straight from PMDG's messages, that its more of a relaxing project for them in between the serious stuff like 737/777/747.

I loved to fly the PT Tu-154M back in FS9, the fact that these planes are so different from what we are used to is what attracted me to them. The engine sounds are just euphoric lol

Same here, everything is just so different compared to western aviation. Both Aeroflot and S7 no longer operate that type. I was bummed when I started to catch flights on Airbus and Boeing a/c. That was a big part of the fun of being in Russia, the incredibly different way these jets operated.

Yea although the 154 is getting to be an old bird and uneconomical to operate, same reason her western counterpart the 727 is no longer in service with most US airlines. I remember seeing a Tu-154 parked here for the NATO event at Chicago, that was a rare sight at ORD and maybe a once in a lifetime chance to take a photo of a Vodka burner here but my phone died  :(
