You know who I'm talking about? That tall guy from Germany (like myself!!!) who finally became #1 in the tennis world rankings. The bloke this song was all about "Boris is   G E I L "?

 

No, he's NOT dead. So, why would I mention him here?!?

 

See, when this lad was still young (about Luke Pabari's age today ...), he had a goal. He was mentally set, concentrated and firmly aimed at achieving that one very goal: Becoming #1 in the tennis world rankings. Before he finally succeeded everything was fine with him.

 

After achieving this at last, he would all change: Looked like he lost track in the following years. No goal anymore, no self-discipline, no rules ... and even no more    m o r a l s   (that's at least, what I was told!).

 

So, this topic is all about asking you one very important question (a number of questions are about to follow - but basically it's the same question asked over and over again!):

 

- Are you mentally prepared for the time after release of the (geil) PMDG B777?

- Do you still have yet another goal in your life (other than still being alive when the T7 will be out at last - and other than still being able to move your limbs in order to shove around those fly-by-wire flight controls)?

- Will you find even more meaning in life than just watching the brand new hybrid VNAV PTH feature doing its fabulous job?

- Will you be able to keep up attitude and even ...   m o r a l s   (completely different from us: the guys from Germany)?

 

No pain, no sweat. No offence intended (and no offense either).

 

Just trying to live up to my responsiblity for the worldwide flightsim community, by asking:

 

Are you prepared?

Errrr... It's just another plane. A good one yes, but still "only" a simulator plane

Well the 77L is capable of ATL-JNB so I think there will be time to think of the meaning of life.

Indeed!  I never imagined there would be a connection between Boris Becker and the 777, but Oliver found one.  Who knew that PMDG had such great foresight to team up with Boris way back then with some clever advertising for the future.
