April 18, 201313 yr Hi guys, Sorry if this has been addressed previously but I did some searching and can't find the answer. The labels in the VC in the 737 800 NGX are very blurry in any zoom under 0.9 ,even at 0.9 some text like the FMC text is blurry... Not the digital numbers but the white text on the metal and the labels on the buttons etc. It's being flown on a 34" HD Sinotec TV with a HDMI cable to a Geforce 210 512MB GPU and 2.8GHz CPU and 2 Gigs Ram. Also the FSX settings are on max for the global textures so the VC should be awesome I thought. It flies smoothly but the VC just becomes very blurry under 0.9 zoom and that zoom level is too tight to fly on. Any advice would be appreciated, if its my system, the settings, just the way the VC is at zoom levels below 0.9 or something I'm missing. Thanx Rory
April 24, 201313 yr I experience the same issue Rory, did you find any solutions yet? Regards Fredrik Fredrik Schjetne

April 25, 201313 yr I had this same problem. One day I had switched monitors and then everything in the cockpit was focused. I had found out that the new monitor I was using was a 1920x1080 monitor, so get a 1920x1080 monitor. That should fix the problem. Darrian Woodard
April 25, 201313 yr TRK whats the resolution that your currently runing at ? like Darw says i went from a older to a newer 1080 monitor and everything went from blurry to lovely :-) ....... Image removed as image is no longer available.
April 25, 201313 yr This has happened to me now since I fitted an nvidia GTX670 last week. Kevin O'Connell Kevin O'Connell
April 26, 201313 yr Author Sorry for late reply been out of cell range so had no Internet. The screen is a HD tv (Sinotec 32") running off a HDMI cable to a GeForce 210 512mg GPU. The res was set to 1280x1050 (if I remember correctly) because when its set to 1920 then the screens aspect ratio is wrong and it cuts off the lower and sides of the viewable area, the aspect can't be alerted unfortunately... So I'm thinking it may be that. Is texture max load set to 4096 in your FSX.cfg? I'll have a look at that, thanks for the advice. Try turning up your mipmapping settings. Thank you , I'll google how to do that.
April 26, 201313 yr Is texture max load set to 4096 in your FSX.cfg? Thanks Dev. That did it for me. Kevin O'Connell Kevin O'Connell
April 26, 201313 yr Author Thanks Dev. That did it for me. Kevin O'Connell still blurry here :( and at Zoom level 0.8 its still blurry
April 26, 201313 yr Author Yeah they're blurrier than they should be. at least i know I'm not being unreasonable haha. i have a feeling its my screen...going to switch it with another screen just to check over the weekend
April 26, 201313 yr Oh BTW do you have the widescreen tweak in your FSX.cfg too (this helps in general if you have a widescreen monitor). [display] WideViewAspect=True Dev Singh
