April 19, 201313 yr Author Thank you all screengasm screenshots water looks great, which texture is it in rex? did you share your theme? I'm actually not using REX (I have it but haven't used it in a long time.) The water is just default texture with a different shader (Orion's settings that are included with FS Water Configurator Lite) and the sky and cloud textures are Pablo Diaz's HDE v2. All of which is free
April 19, 201313 yr How do you get such smooth looking shots? Even with FS enabled AA and AF on my system, I still see room for improvement. Chase Barnett
April 21, 201313 yr Author How do you get such smooth looking shots? Even with FS enabled AA and AF on my system, I still see room for improvement. The key is to use a program like Photoshop that has a nice high quality resizing algorithm. I also applied one sharpen filter to each screenshot which helps tremendously in my opinion. The last thing is to make sure the image host does not reduce the size and/or quality when you upload. Photobucket has been just horrible with this lately, so I don't use it anymore. I have been using imgur lately which seems to be pretty nice.
April 22, 201313 yr Moderator Good looking shots Molly. with a different shader (Orion's settings that are included with FS Water Configurator Lite) and the sky and cloud textures are Pablo Diaz's HDE v2. All of which is free Thought that sky looked familiar, been using HDEv2 for some time now myself as well as Orions Fav from FSWC. Still the best looking sky set I have found and like you said, its free. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
April 22, 201313 yr Love the shot of the two ww2 fighters. Quick question, do you just press the default keyboard command (v) to take your screenshots? I do this and when i look at them later they look too bright, like their is a bright haze over the image, my screenshots look nothing like what i see while flying.
