FranceVFR for Recommend?

Featured Replies

Hi every one,

Would you please recommend a FranceVFR product for me? Now they are on discount, and I really enjoy the screenshots. I don't live in Europe and don't know much about France, so actual geographical stuff does not matter too much for me. For that I mainly want to enjoy high quality sceneries. Do you have any of there product for recommend?

Thank you.

I only have one France VFR product (so far) and that is Chambery LFLB and i love it, a winter destination with my VA's with a nice challenging approach.

Nice graphics, fantastic fps, and surrounding area included, means this scenery is installed every winter season on my rig :good:

How does that compare to Aerosoft products?

I would recommend their Rhone-Alpes scenery really......... it makes the Alps come to life in a very credible way. I live in France parts of the year and can testify to the awesome quality of the products. Getting an entire region (WITH autogen!) will greatly enhance your reality level, and beats just getting a single airfield.

That one includes autogen? Sure?

Thanks.

I would recommend their products, they are all in very high quality and their support is simply fantastic.

I would recommend Antilles Collection consisted of Guadalupe and Martinique.  It ks FANTASTIC and rich ground textures that run well in my laptop!!!

I want to buy Nice city area and its airport but cannot find in France VFR????

No, the area consist of two products... the phototexture and mesh, and the autogen to cover it.

Seems to me all their stuff is done to a very high standard.  The island os Corsica is just outstanding!

Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)

I picked up Martinique on sale and I'm not impressed. It's a port over from FS9 with poor looking textures and unfinished objects.

I bought it based on a name. Lesson learned.

I have all of their VFR Regional scenery products (Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Bretagne, Haute Bretagne and Alsace) and several of the airports.  They are excellent.  These products include autogen.  However I do not think that they are on sale at the moment, I think it is just their Photo HD products, which do not include autogen, and like all products of this sort do not look good from low altitude.

My system specs: Intel [email protected] - 5.2 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080, 32GB  DDR4  RAMNoctua NH-D15 CPU Cooler,1TB Seagate SSD, 4TB Seagate HD, Windows 10, Asus 32 inch monitor, Saitek Yoke, Throttle Quadrant, Rudder Pedals and Trim Wheel     Sims: MSFS2020      Preferred Aircraft  Black Square Bonanza, and Baron, A2A Comanche, PMDG DC-6, Red Wing L1049

Well like the product page shows the scenery was released in 2007 so it's pretty obvious it's nowhere near the quality modern FSX sceneries have...

I went by the 5 star review, the pics, and the sales hype page. I wrote a review.
