May 10, 201313 yr PMDG, I and I'm sure many of my fellow simmers would really appreciate a key command to be able to turn on the APU, and to connect the external power and Air. These are key commands I would have really liked on the NGX so I thought I'd throw it out there while we're still in the development stage. Also, sorry if this turns into a thread where people start requesting every possible key command for every possible scenario. Lastly, if there's a way I can manually set up key commands for the NGX (not the FSX menu), please let me know. thanks, Mitch Brown Private Pilot | Aerospace Engineering Major
May 10, 201313 yr Not sure if there's settings for the specific things you mentioned, but in the NGX there are quite a lot of key commands that can be set through the CDU. Steve Caffey
May 10, 201313 yr In the menu of CDU you can create key commands for doors etc, not sure about those two though. i7 6700k, GTX 1070 (MSI), 16GB Ram DDR4 Asus Maximus VIII Hero, Corsair H100i v2 - Alex Farmer Goldstar Textures - www.facebook.com/goldstartextures
May 10, 201313 yr Commercial Member While I'm not sure there would be a key command in the menus for it, I'm sure the SDK would have some sort of offset to trigger it for a builder. Also, next time, this would be better placed in the 777 subforum, being about the 777 and all... Kyle Rodgers
May 11, 201313 yr Hi Mitch, have you tried what I wrote to you in february? Reminder... http://forum.avsim.net/topic/401087-apu-key-assignment/ cheers, NiIs U.AMD 5800X3D | 32GB DDR4 RAM @ 3200MHz | RTX 4070 12GB @ 1920x1050px
May 11, 201313 yr Hi Mitch, have you tried what I wrote to you in february? Reminder... http://forum.avsim.net/topic/401087-apu-key-assignment/ I second that, everything you ask for can be done with LINDA, even if it's not in the stock variable set. I wanted a keystroke for the chrono button on the glareshield and another one for both probe-heat switches combined - no problem with LINDA. You have to dig through the documentation (or a forum post, if I remember correctly) to be able to intercept the right values and write the corresponding lines of code, but it's not overly difficult.
