May 30, 201313 yr Duluth still looks like $hit.... And so does 99% of the world. Give me stock buildings at airports... and I'll be much more satisfied. May 30, 201313 yr There certainly are awful clouds in reality. There are numerous times that I've looked up, and thought X-Plane. But some nice fluffy ones with less gray, wouldn't hurt. I've got lots of flight pics with clouds. Cant upload from this iphone
May 30, 201313 yr uwespeed LPMA has been released? Yes, long ago :-) You can get it from here: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=18310 It's my preferred X-Plane10 scenery. I still have LM Prepar3d installed, and the Aerosoft Madeira scenery as well. Having had the chance to land in the jumpseat many times, on b737s and buses, and also 1hr levelD flight simulation session at TAP's headquarters in LPPT (A320/21/19), it is naturally one of my preferred places to fly to. With this scenery X-Plane10 is clearly ahead of MSFS / P3D because not only of the graphic quality, (very realistically slopped runway included, pretty evident in RL), but specially because of the much more realistic feel of landing in such an airport that X-Plane provides compared to MSFS / P3D. Landing with shfiting winds / turbulence in X-Plane10's LPMA is a LOT closer to reality than anything MSFS / P3D / Aerosoft Madeira / AS2012 can give you - this is a fact! May 31, 201313 yr I was referring to LPMA by uwespeed, I remember him working on one. The version you posted above is XPFR's which I already have. ASUS ROG Maximus Hero XII ▪︎ Intel i9-10900K ▪︎ NVIDIA RTX 3090 FE ▪︎ 64GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro ▪︎ Windows 10 Pro (21H1) ▪︎ Samsung 970 EVO Pro 1TB NVME SSD (OS Drive) ▪︎ Samsung 860 EVO 2TB SATA SSD ▪︎ Seagate 4TB SATA HDD ▪︎ Corsair RMx 850W PSU
June 2, 201313 yr The XPFR LPMA is basically my scenery - XPFR added e.g. the curved approach light, some nicer photo textures, this and that. Unfortunately it wasn't possible to bring together lebelge's orthophoto scenery of the entire island with my HD mesh, due to a limitation of g2xpl. So, it was released with a simplified mesh. But I'm still working on it for further improvements like ground traffic, ATC taxi flow, World Traffic, better mesh, .... (but meanwhile doing some other smaller projects, too). My sceneries (excerpt): LPMA Madeira (XPFR), LGSR Santorini, LRBV Brasov, the city of Fürth (Germany), several libraries, ...
