June 1, 201313 yr Commercial Member Oh.But it's not realistic as PMDG. If want to learn that I should go PMDG first. Wait until FSL airbus release. What do you think? I think you should just do that. Dont expect PMDG level from my airbus. Expect what you expect after being told what it is. Dont expect more things than what its told. I rather not have a thread saying that its poorly simulated when clearly someone didnt understand the designs goals of the Airbus Extended. Joshua C. WSSS
June 1, 201313 yr IMO, this someone DID understand ... It's the same someone who stated that muslems have a good sense of humour. I think he's just having a good time pulling somebody's leg ... The Aerosoft AAX is the most immersive Airbus available right now for FSX. It's a huge leap forward since those PSS and Wilco/Feelthere Airbusses overall. For an in-depth Airbus system simulation within FSX we (Owen) will have to wait until FlightSimLabs reveal their piece of development ... What happened to AVSIM
June 1, 201313 yr The NGX is good. The AXE is good. I enjoy both Majestic Dash 8 is also good Brent Lewis

It gives you some insight of 'normal' flightdeck systems and 'normal' operations and procedures. It simply doesn't simulate ALL the systems. And it doesn't simulate failures of systems. Have a look/two looks here: "in's": http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/57072-features/ and "out's": http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/56475-what-is-not-included-simulated/ What happened to AVSIM

But I haven't buy yet. You think should I buy? or wait FSL airbus come out? what is the difference if I download from website is free but it's the same A320 airbus and Aerosoft airbus X extended?
June 1, 201313 yr The Aerosoft Airbus isn't for free - and the FSL Airbus won't be for free, either. If it's for free, it's either a different thing or it's pirated or it's malware/fake shop ... The decision, again, is up to you: - do you want a nice and immersive Airbus just for flightsimming (Aerosoft)? - or do you want the most realistic Airbus (ever) to support your realworld pilot ambitions (FlightSimLabs)? BTW, we lost track of that high-fidelity Boeing 737NG(X) by PMDG ... and of the Bonanza ... and the Majestic Dash ... What happened to AVSIM

There have been no problem with it. Take a look below for the website http://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/4200/fsx-lufthansa-airbus-a320/ Why you will be lost track? Seldom to fly 737NG ,Bonanza and Dash?

You might want to read the Simflight review of the AFS Airbus package. It's free for a reason and can't be compared with PMDG's products. Lately, we’ve seen an influx of aircraft that are not detailed but are designed for the novice or non-serious virtual pilot. AFS has produced the A330 and A340 for us in one package. http://www.simflight.com/2010/12/21/review-afs-design-airbus-a330340-family-fsx/ Gerry Howard
June 1, 201313 yr Thanks for reminding me of the link you provided before: "PUBLISHER: AFS-design" (This should read developer instead if publisher.) Planes by AFS-design are very similar to FSX default planes. The developer hardly adds any systems. It's pretty much the same stuff you know from the FSX stock planes. The panels/displays/gauges and, of course, the exterior models are different. But the variables/parameters/internal processes are about the same as with the, say, FSX default airbus. This is my ranking of airbusses, ranked by the degree of realism: 1. Realworld Airbus (a bit expensive, lol!) 2. FSL Airbus (FlightSimLabs, not yet released) 3. Aerosoft Airbus/BBS Airbus (BlackBoxSimulation, I don't own it) 4. AFS-design Airbus (I will never own it!) 5. default FSX Airbus What happened to AVSIM

June 1, 201313 yr Commercial Member Yeah I would recommend to stay away from AFS Design, I made a mistake of buying their Airbus collection once, mainly for A320NEO & to try and merge A340-200 and A340-500 with some other models. I didn't even expect much but still in the end what I got was way lower than my expectations. Also he "forgot" to mention in the product page that A330-200 and A330-300 both use the same model, A330-200 repaints just having less windows on them than the A330-300, same goes with A340-200 & -300 and -500 & -600 if I remember right. The developer even refused to fix all the actual bugs because I wrote bad review of his product, then he insisted that A340-200 & 300 and A330-200 & 300 use different models. When I proved that wrong by looking at the aircraft files installed he said he will call police for looking at "his files", installed by the installer on my own computer. All the models also had invisible cargo doors hanging out of the aircraft all the time & virtual cabin actually is included only in separate models like with CS 777, again something not properly mentioned anywhere. Thankfully Simmarket gave me a refund although it really even wasn't their fault at all. You might want to read the Simflight review of the AFS Airbus package. It's free for a reason and can't be compared with PMDG's products. Uhmm the full version of AFS Design Airbus is payware as far as I know, at least they sell it in Simmarket. Not that you would really want to get it even if it was free.
