Carenado's v2.1 update for...

Featured Replies

Carenado has just posted their updated X-Plane V10 64-bit Bonanza V35 and Bonanza F33A at http://www.carenado.com.  This brings the total V10 updates to seven, including:

Mooney M20J

Piper Saratoga PA32R-301

Piper Archer II PA28-181

Cessna C172N II

Cessna C152II

Beechcraft V35 Bonanza

Beechcraft F33A Bonanza

Get your updates from the vendor from whom you made your original purchase.  If you bought directly from Carendao, go to your "My Account" page and click the download link.  Even though your product list doesn't title the aircraft as V2, the new download will be the most current version.  Your number of downloads should be augmented to allow for the new download.

I have crashing problems on both the Carenado CT210 Centurion II and Carenado PA32 SARATOGA SP v2.1.   They both crash on XPlane 10.21r2 64 bit due to the SASL plugin.  I have spoken at length with Carenado about the issue and they have confirmed that XP10.30 should sort out the issue.  Such a shame.  I think that they have done a fabulous job with the CT210.  They were kind enough to issue a refund but I will definitely purchase again when I am confident that the issue has been resolved.

Well, I am still waiting for the PA34 and the B58... They'll probably get their updated versions after 10.30 gets released...

Agreed, the Centurion is the best plane I think I've ever bought, but I'm also getting CTDs in some areas. There has been talk recently of a quick bug-fix being issued before 10.30 to deal with this, but haven't heard of it being released yet...

If you have enough hard-disk space, and if you want a solution before the release of a patch for the "Lua memory allocator for Windows", then you can install a GNU/Linux distribution.

I get a crazy sound loop lockup on the C172 that takes 3+ minutes to unfreeze If I'm lucky. On the F33 it's a minor sound glitch.

Updates are being done chronologically in reference to when they were originally released.  There is no correlation to the release of X-Plane 10.30.  Won't be too much longer to wait for your favorites.

You should make a copy of your log.txt and submit it to Carenado along with a description of the problem.  They are very fast to respond to support tickets.  You could also make a post in the Carenado Support Forum at the org and attach your log.txt to that post for even faster response.

Do you by any chance use World Traffic? It might be the culprit, although I can't be certain and would not want to put the blame on the wrong plugin.

I get this too although only or a few seconds usually.
