June 14, 201313 yr There exist two options that I am aware of. One is freeware and is just the external model. http://pages.videotron.com/camsim/ags350.htm One is Payware and has a VC. IMO it is not up to payware standards, especially on the external model, which looks nothing like the real thing. http://www.afs-design.de/afs-design-fsx-airbus-a350.htm
June 14, 201313 yr I was going to merge it with the Aerosoft Airbus X, but it turns out that the Camsim model is not a native FSX model, which means no merging with other VC. Damn, I really wanted an A350 after seeing the real one. Thanks, Kevin L

June 14, 201313 yr How can anyone realistically simulate an aircraft that has only just flown? They might be able to get the basic visual appearance okay, and that's about it. ckyliu, proud supporter of ViaIntercity.com. i5 12400F, 32GB, RTX4070, more in "About me" on my profile.
June 15, 201313 yr True... There hasn't even been a real photo of the flight deck yet. What I was trying though was to merge it with the Airbus X VC and FDE. The Camsim aircraft is a great model, but it handles like an F/A-18. Thanks, Kevin L

June 15, 201313 yr http://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/3445/fsx-tap-portugal-airbus-a350-900-xwb/ Looks decent... For FS98 indeed... too much, too soon....
June 15, 201313 yr Payware A350 being developed by these guys : https://www.facebook.com/pages/Extreme-Level-Studios/507455302635035?ref=ts&fref=ts Or so they say.
June 15, 201313 yr Commercial Member For FS98 indeed... That's just average looking FSX freeware outside model, nothing particularly FS98 like about it in my opinion. Payware A350 being developed by these guys : https://www.facebook.com/pages/Extreme-Level-Studios/507455302635035?ref=ts&fref=ts Or so they say. Hmm I hope they will be able to complete their project, having some kind of A350 with VC would be nice.
June 15, 201312 yr Payware A350 being developed by these guys : https://www.facebook.com/pages/Extreme-Level-Studios/507455302635035?ref=ts&fref=ts Or so they say. They also say that it should be finished by July, and if not, by December. Hopefully that's the truth! Thanks, Kevin L
June 15, 201312 yr They also say that it should be finished by July, and if not, by December. Hopefully that's the truth! I've never heard of these guys before. Don't know any of their previous work, if they worked on anything. Just a shot in the dark but how do they plan on implementing a worthy flight deck design including the systems and the architecture behind it without the real world counterpart in service or even close to being commercially operated anytime soon ? Ideas ?
June 15, 201312 yr It's also a well known fact that people like to buy the kind of aeroplanes that they travel on in real life and the ones they see at airports near them. This was the reason the PMDG MD11 faired poorly according to Robert Randazzo, as it was quite a rare sight by the time it came to market for FS. It'll be a good few years before any of us have made regular journeys on an A350.
June 15, 201312 yr So it's a good reason for pmdg to start development so they both become popular at the same time! -Iain Watson-
