it's unavailable for everyone outside UK

I'm in the Republic of Ireland and I'm receiving it just fine... I'm sure the BBC is available in other places outside the UK too, just not on their iPlayer...

Well, I only have BBC World. Cable operator cut BBC Prime sometimes ago, but thats irrelevant as show is emitted at BBC2

Very interesting show tonight, particularly the bit about the aircraft painting... Been years since I've seen an aircraft being stripped down like that.

Look for it on Youtube, I easily found Monday's show there.

I guess that's the only option

Just watched the 3/4 instalment of the series. Absolutely brilliant!

Spoiler Alert: The final day of the show has a chance of a storm so it should be exciting!

Here's the link on YouTube to Episode 1.

No doubt the remaining ones will become available later in the week.

Another fascinating programme tonight. Paint stripper like you've never seen before to strip back to the primer applied by Airbus.

How many individual stencil circles had to be removed by hand for the BA tail livery? Around 25,000! They don't have a machine that can do it so it's done by hand. That's dedication.

And what are the two letters that most concern ATC? I'm sure Ronan knows but for everyone else they are....

CB. Cumulonimbus. According to tonight's weather forecast there's a 70% chance of CBs in the greater London area tomorrow so it should be very interesting.

Does anyone know if American broadcasters have done anything like this at JFK or other major airports? Can't say I've ever seen one. If any Americans (or other nationalities) have never seen a programme like this for their major airports you should really watch Airport Live. Clearly lots of planning went into this and it's paid handsome dividends. :Applause:

UK citizens are very lucky to have such a production giant as BBC, they know what they are paying for.

I can think of many things that scare or concern ATC more than CB LOL, but it's certainly one of the more regular annoyances...

The show was of a very high quality, I quite enjoyed it and usually I don't enjoy most shows like this about Aviation as I spend half the time cringing when they ask the same type of questions about "Is it safe" or "How good is the Auto-Pilot?", but this show was miles above my expectations and a very enjoyable piece of television, much like their D-Check on a 747 a few months back that they showed...

It's not over yet Ro! One more show tonight

One question I wish they expanded upon last night was regarding ATC control room and what happens if there is power cut. The next question should have been what if there is a fire and there is a need to evacuate the tower.

What then? Anyone?

Funnily enough I emailed almost the exact same question in last night! Maybe they will address it tonight!

Pray tell. But it was those two letters that most concerned them. So what other letters might do the same?

They went into great detail about the shape of the wing and how it causes the aircraft to fly but never once mentioned what actually gets the aircraft airborne. There is a definite action required by the pilot on reaching Vr - rotation - but why was it not mentioned? Small point but fairly important.

The power cut question was asked and the answer was they have UPS and multiple backups. But the fire question wasn't so that would be interesting to know.
