June 19, 201312 yr Well don't I look a fool  the colours are deceptively bright and threw me off. Karl Brooker
June 19, 201312 yr I do not like it at all, looks like squeezed 787 cockpit. I just like dedicated screens over that multi functional ones Lj. Prodanovic
June 19, 201312 yr Commercial Member I do not like it at all, looks like squeezed 787 cockpit. I just like dedicated screens over that multi functional ones Agreed. I'm not a fan for the same reasons. Granted, I don't mind the G1000 in the smaller planes I fly, which has a similar engine-nav display, but I think the design of it looks a lot better. It's easier to delineate different functions through subtle color changes. The Boeing version (through whatever contractor, of course), not so much... Kyle Rodgers
June 19, 201312 yr Ouch! CASE: Fractal Terra Silver CPU: AMD R5 7800X3D 5.0Ghz RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 GPU: nVidia RTX 4070 Ti SUPER · SSDs: Samsung 990 PRO 2TB M.2 PCIe · PNY XLR8 CS3040 2TB M.2 PCIe · VIDEO: LG-32GK650F QHD 32" 144Hz FREE/G-SYNC · MISC: Thrustmaster TCA Airbus Joystick + Throttle Quadrant · MSFS2024 · Windows 11
June 19, 201312 yr Looks like the screens are the only thing carried over from the 787, same style FMS, MCP etc of the current NG Wonder if the NG/MAX could share a type rating? With some differences training for the new avionics I don't see why not.
June 19, 201312 yr Commercial Member Wonder if the NG/MAX could share a type rating? With some differences training for the new avionics I don't see why not. My vote would be yes. It's the same with the other 73s. Kyle Rodgers
June 19, 201312 yr http://www.flickr.com/photos/flightblogger/5181503089/sizes/o/in/photostream/ Slightly clearer picture
June 19, 201312 yr Commercial Member Slightly clearer picture I'm not sure that's it at all. If you look at the first picture there are 4 (square - not rounded) displays, the gear handle and ISFD is centrally located, and several other differences. Looks like it's unrelated. Kyle Rodgers
June 19, 201312 yr http://www.flickr.com/photos/flightblogger/5181503089/sizes/o/in/photostream/ Slightly clearer picture That's some mock-up of something, but what? Sidestick? It doesn't look much like the other pics. Matt Cee
June 19, 201312 yr Author Have you guys seen the A350 cockpit? The bloody thing looks closer to a multi screen desktop setup like most of us have than an actual real world cockpit. Sent from Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Eric
June 19, 201312 yr That's some mock-up of something, but what? Sidestick? It doesn't look much like the other pics. I was about to post that, must be an error? Or is Boeing considering sidesticks now? Edit: Just saw this http://www.flickr.com/photos/flightblogger/5181502641/in/photostream/ "Note: Sidestick was a creative liberty for the simulator."
