But not to drag you down, yet haven't all of us including yourself done that with the MS stuff and their EULA in some kind of way? I'm just saying, if he is not sharing it, I don't get the heavy leaning. If I'm way off, go ahead hit me I can take it, but come on, where did SCASM come from and all the tools? In the begining we all broke MS EULA as we broke each version of FS down and Mother looked the other way. How did they break the MS EULA when MS openly publishes their SDK for that exact purpose?

Hi Greg, You make a good point and the SDK was a great help, however as you probably know it was an SDK that finaly came much too late way after the fact and even then it was full of holes. Most add-on developers or anyone else here that has been in the game as long as John knows most of what was learned was thru the back door as it were (breaking the EULA) and so I was relating to that. MS rarely threatened anyone over it however, maybe if you wanted to use "MSFS" in your title box art you of course had to pay the piper but even that came to an end. On the other hand we had the likes of PapaTango..who tried to push a lot of people around, they seemed to think they owned the rights exclusively for all A&A aircraft, remember that? And those guys could talk all sweet to you if they wanted your work and then would take control. It is right of course to take a stand for protecting your intellectual property and hard work, I'm sure that's all John had in mind as that has been a huge investment. But on the other hand if someone can tell me how to get rid of the terrible fake looking default desert looking textures that are all over the place by just renaming some other texture from my default install or from one of my add-on's I don't see the problem. If there is, then we will need to clear out many of the freeware scenery packages that we all likely have, as these have done the same. Have a great night and lets do some flying!
