Recommended Posts

While I can't wait for the 777 (Going to get it on release day) I'm also looking forward to the DC-6 but haven't heard any news about her recently is she still comming? and if so I'm sure we'd all love some recent pictures.

Thanks guys.

David

I think they're still trying to find a suitably devious place to hide the pogo-stick aswell....

I am a beta tester for the PMDG woodpidgeon A350 and A380 and pmdg's rv-10 for x-plane OOPPS I let that one out of the bag. The weather radar works great. In fact it has one of those new all in one efis setups that is big in the experimental planes ( rob got the idea to use it on the WP from the RV project) and it gets it weather radar image from the pmdg server that simulates ads-b

And the pogo stick will be all the way in the back to balance the weight of the RADAR? ;-)

Looks like it.  My electric broke and then it got to long to take a normal razor to it.  Ha!

This thread is highly amusing with the semi-subtle taunting of usual themes (2D cockpit, radar, Airbus, etc...) Oh, and the cat...

PMDG doing a wooden aircraft would be a weekend job LOL. I'd still LOVE to see PMDG do a full G1000.

But will all of these wonderful PMDG aircraft in development (DC-6, Woodpigeon, etc, etc) have the necessary wing-flex??

The Woodpigeon doesn't only have flex but flex that varies with humidity! It's a whole new dynamic flex engine because when it's humid the wooden frame obviously swells, the fabric gets tighter and the flex reduces. Also as most threads say at some point, "I'm sure I remember Robert saying somewhere" that it will also have an all new photo-real pogo stick and it's this that has delayed release.
