MILVIZ 732 RELEASED!

I hate seeing the word "inop" in the VC    I guess the patch will unop it

I think the new AP will "op it"   :P

It's better to have a "INOP" and an honest communication from the developer than have nothings working as it should with no "inops" & false advertising about features ;)

I think the "INOP" add to the realism  !!

Many a elderly 737 flight was conducted with at least one "non-critical system"  in an known "INOP" state.

Just "sign off" on it, and FLY !!

My Favorite thing in the MilViz 737  --

The  Floppy Disk Drive, and it's Sound effects

Whirrrl  --- Click-Click --  Whirrrl  --- Click-Click -- Whirrrl  --- Click-Click --  CLUNK  !!

Brings back memories of  "the good old days"  !!

You must have clicked on the Data Load/Save in the UNS-1Fw then. That is rather cool, eh?

Totally!   I think the INOP stickers are the thing that has made me more relaxed about flying the SP177 model, without the FLCH mode....   It actually looks convincing that the mode is broken, and the engineer has put the INOP sticker on!

I think if the AP just had the FLCH button missing, it would seem far less realistic and I wouldn't personally use that AP model then.

Can't wait for the custom AP though

Just read a review of this model. Was sorely tempted to purchase UNTIL I read that the trim "clacker" sounds and yoke "clicking" sounds are not simulated. Surely this can't be right?! View any 737-200 cockpit vids and these are the predominant sounds when hand-flying this wonderful aeroplane.

Chillblast Core i5 14600KF Liquid Cooled RTX 4070 SUPER 32GB RAM. Internet: 1 Gig Fibre. HoneyComb Throttle & Flight System.

Sound effects will be added in either the "Hot Fix" or the planned "Service Upgrade" (that will add a better SP-177).

good to hear about trim motor sound! It adds to unique cockpit atmosphere a lot!

Yes. very COOL  Bill  -- your handy work I assume :)

Stock Floppy Disk Recording,  ?  sound like one of those old 8" jobs to me !

(That dates me)

Did you also do the Pressurization system ?  Is it completed. ?

I have not managed to get the small needle to move,  while the longer one  does increase, and then limits at the start of the orange band., even at FL320.

Still trying to figure this one out....

Anyone know what liveries are released with the product, and where to find repaints?

I hope ground friction will be fixed in the hotfix and the fact I have to engage and disengage the parking brake before I can move is strange.

In the release version, Auto Brake is set to MIN when loaded (this has since been changed to default to OFF). Turn Auto Brake system to OFF prior to taxi.

Ground friction is controlled by FSX's sim1.dll file. We are not about to make any changes in a default sim module.

Hi Bill

Not a crit at all, as I L O V E this aircraft.  But how did other devs get around this issue then?  There are other Boeing jet addons that seem to have aquired a better or more realistic ground roll effect.  Just curious?

We've now talked to a couple of real Boeing 737-200 pilots and they all say the same thing... it takes upwards of 60% power to get the plane started rolling.  Once it's moving... all good.

This is NORMAL for this aircraft.
