I love your textures for the clouds and sky. What do you use?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the 737 livery thread have 7k+ posts?

Tom,

Can we get this shifted over to the Screen Shots Forum or shall we start a brand new topic there?  I think I was the first one who started posting pix here, so consider me the guiltiest of the guilty B)

Try VNKT Kathmandu - NO ILS just VOR DME approach with lovely mountains surrounding the airport.... :)

Not really most sliders are to the er... middle/right lol , good addons and capturing the right angle makes all the difference...I do like eye candy :) my frames well flyable never a slideshow as I always disconnect AP on finals and hand fly, sometimes not convincingly lol, ....

Currently the bird is at VTBS after a great thunderstorm around the airport, amazing how the 777 A/P held everything despite being blown around like a leaf on approach. As soon as I touched down FSX crashed...thunderstorms are too much for my poor old system too. Got to capture a shot of lightning lighting up the cockpit...how I love ASN.... :)

With over 5100NM behind her, GTI89 (KTCM-RODN) approaches Kadena AB, Okinawa on an AMC contract mission

Kadena AB, Okinawa on an AMC contract mission

Kadena AB, Okinawa is where most of the SR71 missions were organized...I have a SR71 and have flown into Kadena from Moscow and the Tibetan Plateau!

HLJAMES

Neat info.  I was stationed at Kadena when the last SR-71 left the base in 1990.  I got to see her takeoff and land numerous times and what a spectacular sight it was.  Dozens of people around base would pull their cars off to the side of the road when they saw it taxiing out to the runway.  It was like an air show each and every time with twin streams of fire from her afterburners.  They used big block Chevy engines to start the engines and man did those things roar.

Another tipoff she was an hour or two from takeoff was a pair of KC-135Q's that would launch ahead of her to get in position for aerial refueling.  It's a plane I'll never forget.
