PMDG Operations Center 1.5 - how's it working?

This is absolutely normal since there is no need to remain checked. Once you click on "Save", close the OPS Center and check your, e.g: saved NGX livery packs folder (assuming you have one for reinstalls, etc...) and you'll see that now all those files have a "OPS Center" icon. Now if you wish to install a new livery, just double click on it and OPS Center will open and install the livery automatically.

Fine, .. then how would one de-select that option?, .. such that .ptp files are not associated with 'Operations Center'.

This select/de-select problem only started with vers. 1.04, .. and seemed to work fine prior to that. It was something I mentioned to Ryan in a ticket I logged pertaining to the 32/64 bit issue with Registry Keys. Vers. 1.04 resolved that issue, .. but brought about the issue with the .ptp association setting.

It's hardly normal for an option, to be selected .. and reflect that it's selected by NOT showing the selected 'tick',

.. especially when the other options in 'settings'  .. select and de-select fine.

Cheers

Tom

Worked perfect before and works perfect on latest version

A workaround till a fix is found is to look at your 777 folder in your fsx install and the manuals are all there in the "flight manuals" folder. You can look at them through your pdf reader. I hope this is what you were referring to.

Thanks a lot, but Bryan York of FS2Crew emailed the manuals to me.

many thanks

Interesting because on my machine (XP 32bit) the latest update has made the ops center fully functional. This seems to have become a real head scratcher...on all three OS's (XP, Windows7, and Windows8) we have a mixed bag of working, partially working, hummmm....weird!

After rebooting my PC the latest version has become fully functional.

Hi Guys! after update the ops center stop working for me. I got this message when i try to download livery for the 777 ( and when i try to check the version): There was an unknown error downloading the list of liveries! and Unable to determine the most recent version! My T7 version is:1.00.5376 OS:Win 7 64bit Pmdg Ops Center:latest version Regards!

Working fine on my system

Joe

working fine here.

Cheers,

Oh - btw... since my updater is not working, anybody mind mailing me the .dlls from their ops center folder? I'd like to get going again.

Anybody willing to help out please?

Without it I cannot install .ptp liveries, which is a shame... I really would like to try some out.

Works now, cheers

I have the same problem as bozflyer -- continuously asking for .ptp files. I've tried selecting all liveries (.PTP files) that I have, but the OC just loops until I kill the process.

Am I doing something wrong?

Hi everyone at PMDG, after buying the 777 nearly one week ago, I have yet to take it n the air as I have no documentation.  The link to it in my  operations centre doe not work, I have sent you a ticket 3 days ago to no avail . I cannot find it on my computer as I am  running  W8 with no start  button.

Patrick,

1. There are no tickets that have been sitting without any response for 3 days in the system.

2. The 777 doesn't officialy support Windows 8 and we clearly state that.

3. The actual manual pdf files are located in FSX\PMDG\PMDG 777X\Flight Manuals - you can open them manually there with a PDF viewer like Adobe Reader or Foxit.

Peter,

It's not going to make a difference if I send you the files or not right now - there's something causing it to never get past the first update phase and that's going to continue happening with whatever I send you.

No changes on my end but then again I never had a problem with the ops center.
