And flew the 737-700 today. Still an awesome aircraft and a joy to fly.

What's a twitter?

haha - it was a joke.  Twitter is used to broadcast random updates to your "followers."

I use it to broadcast updates to my blog (and flying life in general) to those who have twitter, instead of Facebook (or prefer to follow there instead, etc):

https://twitter.com/thelifeofapilot

You can see, the messages have to be pretty short.

I absolutely DETEST twitter, facebook too.  My wife is addicted to both.  I dont need to know (nor care) what all these people are doing 24-7.

I am not a follower. I do not follow.

I was joking too. I have heard of Twitter and tweeting. I just don't have the 1st clue how to use it. Not sure I want too either. Just 1 more thing to occupy my time.

In the same boat bro..    Can't go anywhere or do anything without the world knowing.  I despise Facebook and Twitter and all the other social crap services.

haha - true.  I've known a few who are pretty addicted to all of that.  Granted, I use all of it a decent amount, but when that's part of my job I don't get too worried about it.  I think I'm admin for 4 Facebook pages for various people right now?  If I get money from it, and it's simple, I can't argue with that, ya know?

Yeah privacy has gone away with social networking. But wait, I'm on the forums!! Kind of works the same way. I don't need yet another time suck.

On another note, I'm going to fly again! Just don't know from where and when...lol

Kyle, thanks for pointing to your blog, good job! You took me back to my days of training, although back then we did not have DA40s and the amazing avionics you can find in today's GA fleet. I remember my first trip to the airport looking at a beat up C152 and thinking "what am I getting myself into" :) Anyways, best of luck in your endeavor, I will visit your blog for updates

Regards

John.
