But I don't like jazz or beetroots. My wife likes them, but we have 'an understanding'. September 14, 201312 yr It's all about the centralization of our ego; actual genuine socialization is decreasing and instead we have a 'social' interaction with pixels on the screen, carefully planning and presenting our 'self' to the world. To be fair if I was 19 I'd probably love FB and Twitter. As it is, I think back to my childhood in the 80s, that involved some video games (Commodore 64, Atari), but also a BMX bike, a football, lot's of real 'friends', Star Wars, chasing some girls, and a lot of fresh air .......... .......and I think that life for the younger Facebook generation is just so banal and shallow. .... I genuinely feel sorry for them.
