777 and Shockwave Lights

This kinda stuff reminds me of modders and their Acura Integras:

I'd just like to point out a fallacy with that example.

The PMDG T7 is NOT an Acura Integra. I think this aircraft is akin to an Audi R8. Classy, refined, technologically superior, but with a hell of a lot of poke if you push the go-go pedal. And yes, you don't splotch carbon fibre on an Audi R8 willy nilly, but when done right, my oh my does that car come out looking fantastic.

Pictured here, carbon fibre done right, with just the sideblade, mirrors and front skirt in CF.

I guess my point is, to each his/her own, but don't discredit something entirely because it isn't to your taste..

Hahaha! Made my day!

I've seen a few such people here who cannot comprehend the fact that someone else would like to alter an aspect of THEIR simulation on THEIR computer to match THEIR liking. Boy, how dare someone think of that, right?

I love how "I prefer it" is okay to say, because it's someone's opinion about their sim on their computer to match their liking.

...but when I say "I don't prefer it, and here's why" it's the end of the world.

The OP asked if anyone has Shockwave light settings they could share. It took 21 posts, many of which offered nothing but unhelpful opinions, before some were finally provided! (Thank you, Tajuddin.) Any wonder why so many simpilots don't participate in forums?

This plane look more realistic with 3d lights (if they're well configured) than without them. Also The strobes, you only notice them on the ground, on the air you don't see anything, this is not realistic.

I would like to see this 777 with the aerosoft airbus extended strobes (more flashing power like in real life)

If I decide I want to put shockwave lights on my CAR what difference does it make to anyone?  I just came here looking for a config for the T7.  If anyone doesn't care for how they look, that's fine with me.  You don't have to fly my bird.

Is there a way to increase the Logo light intensity?  It seems really washed out as it is.

Eric Thornton

Why would anyone want to change perfectly great looking lights?
