September 17, 201312 yr Commercial Member Hi everyone, I thought I'd posted this the other night but apparently not:We released a version 1.5.1 the other night and one of the main purposes of this version is to try to figure out the weird crash reports we're still getting with the OC. 1.5.1 contains very detailed exception handling that should tell us the precise lines of code where the issues are occurring so we can fix them. Here's what we'd like you to do: 1. Reproduce the issue that you're seeing. 2. Immediately after, go to your C:\Users\<Your User Name>\AppData\Roaming\PMDG\PMDG Operations Center folder (Win Vista/7/8) or C:\Documents and Settings\Application Data\PMDG\PMDG Operations Center (XP): To find this folder you may need to set two Windows options in the Folder options control panel - "Show hidden files, folder and drives" to on and "Hide extensions for known file types" to OFF. 3. Attach the PMDG Operations Center.log file found in this folder to me directly at [email protected] 4. Please include the following information as well: - A description of the exact issue you're having. - Version of Windows installed, including language - Antivirus or other security programs (firewall etc) installed and running Thanks, hopefully we're close to getting the remaining issues with the OC resolved. September 17, 201312 yr Hello Ryan, Still cannot update via online updater - nothing to worry about though... the ops center runs just fine. FWIW... I tracked my personal crashes to dll/exe version mismatch. Since my updater managed to download the updated exe, but not the updated dlls. Once I got the complete package from somewhere else, it worked. --Peter Fabian

It's the exact same process the livery downloads use, so it really doesn't make any sense to me at all that it doesn't work. Would you be available to do a Live Support session with me at some point? I want to see if I can troubleshoot it directly and try to figure out why it's happening. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
September 18, 201312 yr Sorry, but between work, school, and side things, I don't think I can. Thanks for the offer though. --Peter Fabian

September 18, 201312 yr Hi I get this message when trying to update operations center: c:\program files (x86)\pmdg operations center\OpsCenterUpdater.exe is not a valid Win32 application. I have version 1.5 installed. Also when trying to update my 777 liveries Air Canada 77L and Lan Cargo 77F I get the error message: error downloading file. Matthew (SuperG) Rhoden
September 18, 201312 yr Hi all, I had some messages similar to yours Rhoden and it turned out to be caused by my Norton virus Protection blocking everything. Try turning all virus protection off before clicking the Ops Centre and trying any downloads that are waiting. Just my experience! Happy Flying, Dave Phillips.
September 18, 201312 yr Hello Ryan..I know the PMDG policy on windows 8 support, but can I just let you know that until this update, everything worked fine . My operation centre recognizes that there is a new update available but when I click on the update windows states it "cannot run this app and to contact the publisher for another version of the software". Fortunately my system works fine without it. I suspect others my have the same warning.
September 19, 201312 yr Hi all, Try turning all virus protection off before clicking the Ops Centre and trying any downloads that are waiting. Just my experience! Thanks for the advice but I always disable antivirus software before using fsx or anything related to it and I still get the error messages Matthew (SuperG) Rhoden
September 19, 201312 yr Hi everybody, I have same version and issue as SuperG... using W7 ultimate 64bit. Not an antivirus issue for me, thank`s for the advice though. I was able to download updates and liverys up until this last update was release. Amazing addon by the way! I`m using ducktape to keep my jaw from dropping to the floor, lol. Ivan Frecia
September 22, 201312 yr I sent an email too, after submitting a ticket to the technical help. Let's see what happens. I would hate to beg for a refund, since I've been waiting for this plane for such a long time. By the way, from where did member -2,000+ get his other .dll:s, as he mentioned in his first post? It would be quite fair for the others of us in this community to get critical ifo too... Fly like an Eagle...
