Suggestions for the 777 FS2crew

Featured Replies

I'm not sure if you're planing to include cabin crew sound effects, but if you are, with just about every 777 having IFE the days of the flight attendant belting out the safety briefing over the PA are over. Something that sounds like one of those cheesy 'welcome aboard' videos would be more realistic.

Cannot wait for the 777 FS2Crew, what always impressed me about this outfit was that each new version added so much new functionality. FS2Crew is indispensable when it comes to flying the heavy iron. Kudos to you Brian, I cannot wait to see/hear this thing in action.

I think it would be neat to be able to (if the SDK permits), voice control the door opening and closing. I know that in the script this is built in, though different circumstances call for different configurations. Perhaps it could even be some form of interaction with the Cabin PA on the center CDU. Regardless, the ability to not have to go into the CDU's for doors would be amazing for the product. Just a suggestion to throw out there.

At the risk of sounding cliche, I love planes.

Good deal!  I understand how complex your simulations are, and that there is only so much you can do as you have to cater to so many users all of which have their own favorite airline or SOP to follow.   I just really think having the flexibility to further customize some settings in the .ini file helps the more advanced users get what they want without complicating the flows already scripted into the module.  If anyone can figure out a way to do this, you can!

I think for most of the users, it would be better to have some selectable options in something like a GUI control panel, to make some slight changes on SOP or CL. that would be much easier than edit an ini file.

Things I think would be chuffing awesome:

1) I think it would be cool if the PNF is able to select and check things off on the ECL, and interact with the CPDLC system (depending on it's depth..)

2) And I think it would be especially awesome if the PNF can actually SEE that the Flight Plan is passing through a "yellow" or "red" zone on the WXR and suggest a deviation.

Depends on what the SDK allows :-)

Well, here's to hoping for a cracker of an SDK then! :P

We're sticking to pushing and pulling the aircraft only.

Hi Bryan,

Could that include being repositioned between stands?

But there's even something bigger than that... but since you're an Anglo it won't really apply to you...

Single Engine Taxi? Can't think of anything :P

Since SP1 will include functionality for a weather radar, could we have the "weather on my side" (with "terrain on my side" reply) added if the SDK allows that?
