Can anybody confirm that the metroliner will be available tomorrow? I made the pre order and was expecting the plane on saturday. Thank you in advance.

Those who pre-ordered will get the beta. As far as I know it's still on for tomorrow.

Yeah hopefully it's not pushed back last minute again. Understandable of course but I was excited.

The beta is available to download if you preordered.

Beta is out... hurry up and get it because if you run into trouble, the razbam guys won't be available (this weekend) to help you (says on their fb page).

is this a "lite" version or is it full on systems wise? Im looking for something to replace the pmdg J41, getting bored with it

Its a deep systems sim. They say that themselves. They also say its more complex then their latest military stuff, which is saying something

I just tested it, and looks like a winner for me, is in beta stage for now so few systems not working yet, but you can complete a flight without problem. The feeling inside the cockpit is really good, with that old style "clocks" everywhere, and the fde is really good, not an easy plane to fly, you can stall it pretty easy. I felt all the time flying a metro, ( i made few flights as a passenger watching all cockpit operations) Congratulations to razbam and waiting for the complete product.

Awaiting even more reviews then. Of course leaving some room for inevitable release bugs and thingies. The Facebook posts show that quite some system details are around and get checked.

 

The addicts are looking to get some more (analogue gauge) needles I guess. ^_^

I did a quick spin and agree with nachez. The cockpit has "character" - no sterile feeling to it. Flight model seems very good. First beta so lots still to do. Exterior lighting doesn't work, sounds aliased to default king air..stuff like that. Looking forward to flying it some more today when I get the chance. One of those planes that just feels right... I wish I could articulate it better. Maybe after some more hours with it.

Just installed it, seems rather good. The VC indeed looks just great, I found that many switches didn't seem to work yet, I guess that's because it's still in beta. 

 

I also like the way it handles, the flight dynamics felt right to me. Plane reacts properly to turbulence, also you can get into a spin quite easily by pulling up hard and then applying some left/right rudder and it seems to stay in the spin quite nicely unless you do something to recover.

I wonder if there are some freeware engine sounds we could put it. I'll have a look around.
