October 10, 201312 yr Hello FS pilots I recently installed FSGRW as it got some good reviews and also in some forum the reviews where more then good. Before I started with FSGRW I used Active Sky Evolution with newest SP. But the only thing till now I don't like is the option to set options to get a smoother horizon so you'll not see the flat horizon of the FS2004. With ASE it looked like this: But now it looks like below when flying on FL380. On lower flight levels it's okay like approach etc. Hope someone has an idea about that Greets Greetings Eddi
October 10, 201312 yr You might be better off asking your question in the dedicated forum of the developer of FSGRW: http://fsgrw.freeforums.org/index.php Also: turn off any FSUIPC weather settings when using FSGRW, they interfere with what FSGRW is trying to set in the sim. Andreas Paul
October 11, 201312 yr Author Adjust the Visibilty slider in FSGRW. The slider is set to 80km whats the minimum. In the FS it's the same as it's set to minimum what is around 90km. But it still looks like this actual somewhere over Egypt Greetings Eddi
October 14, 201312 yr Author I decided to wrote a topic in the FSGRW forum. I got a reply from one of the admins but the content is like "RTFM" and set all fSUIPC to off. I've done that but the result was no change with nothing...I'm still having the flat border at the horizon. Till now no further reply as I stated I already done that with FSUIPC to off. I don't know what to do then going back to ASE as the horizon looks so ugly :( Greetings Eddi
October 16, 201312 yr Hi. Same problem here. Not sure about fsuipc. Will check. With ASE horizont looks ok Sent from my MT15i using Tapatalk 2

July 15, 201411 yr Anything above a visibility setting of 30 miles will get you a flat horizon UNLESS you use a sky texture set which smoothes out this transition. Some REX sky textures have a smooth transition. There is also a freeware texture set called Soft Horizons (http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php?do=copyright&fid=89766 + an update http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php?do=copyright&fid=112645) over at flightsim.com. I used this one until I found the perfect REX set for my needs. Sascha Rieger | EVO Developer What is EVO • How to get Evo 2016 • FS9 Evolution Forum
August 13, 20178 yr or you can try the settings suggested in Full Enviroment 9 Manual if you have a registered FSUIPC https://togapjcts.wixsite.com/toga/full-environment-9 leave all other Weather Settings untouched! I use these Settings together with TOGA ENVTEX and FS Global Real Weather
August 18, 20178 yr I run this settings in FSUIPC Visibility tabClear:3000 Cloudy:3000 o/cast: 3000 Rainy: 2000 gives quite good results
