SP3.2 for iFly 737NG

Featured Replies

Has anyone heard or asked when SP3.2 will be available. This update is necessary if you fly the NG out of FSDT KJFK to avoid a crash of the couatl engine in the scenery.

ps. this should be obvious but I'm referring to the update for Prepar3D. It is out for FSX.

you need to email flight1tech and ask for it or how long it will take to be released as ifly ( the developers ) no longer support p3d with the 737ng :(

What do you mean, they no longer provide P3d support for the NG? Why?

As far as I know:

IFly737NG Version 3.1 (2-13-2013) was the last update for all three iFly737NG products (for FS9, FSX and P3D).

Major updates Version 3.1.1 (incremental), 3.1.2 (incremental) and now ver 3.2 (8-18-13) have only been released for their FS9 and FSX products???

So now, why would normal (important) product updates (like Ver 3.2 which has major Airac Navdata changes) for the iFly737 P3D product stop?

Also I have seen posted on their forum that they no longer support iFly versions previous to ver 3.2.

Ifly wont provide support and if ypu post asking for support you will get none, if you needed support then flight1tech would have to provide through email or support ticket system if they have one which makes it one very slow support system if you live in the wrong time zone.

The reasons for ifly dropping forum support for p3d users.. no idea, they might of posted but im not sure, maybe they dont like p3d users anymore or they want to be part of the anti p3d campain i could keep going but it would all be guess work.

Everything for Prepar3D for iFly is handled through Flight1, purchase and support. Flight1 has worked with me regarding an issue with FSDT KJFK. The fix is listed as one of the items in the update (SP3.2) on the iFly forum. I was sent a separate file with a fix but haven't been able to test it as my flight sim computer is being rebuilt. I was told that the update was forthcoming for Prepar3D, I just haven't seen it yet. I'll ask them directly, if no one has heard anything, and report what I find out back here.

ps. A support ticket has been created.

Hi, ifly support the P3D version through the ticket system on the Flight1 website. The reason as I understand it is that the as P3D is not licenced for use as entertainment, flight1 provide the P3D licenced version of the ifly737 as commercial product with its own support structure. I have also been advised that the 3.2 update will be available for the p3d in due course and will be made available on the flight1 website.

Regards Mike

Flight1 handles their commercial ventures as their P3D version is  geared toward that audience.

They didn't separate the products that much as they've started. I think that's the point which confuses people at bit. Perhaps even the friendly Flight1 folks in the forums.

This just flight1 being awkward with P3d customers, the ifly 737 that they list it on their tech site along with a disclaimer that it is not licensed for commercial training,so why is it on their tech site? ,they charge £35 for fsx ver,s and £50 for the P3d vers why? it is the same product and from what I can see it is not even the latest version for p3d ,I purchased the ifly 737 for fsx and paid the update of £10 for the P3d license, now the £10 license seem,s to have become a temporary license that has " EXPIRED",it is made difficult to gain any info on the ifly 737 for P3d ,does Flight1 think I am going to re purchase for P3d again, this all goes to show how devious and silly  flight1 is becoming over P3d and its add on,s

the Ifly 737 sp3.2 is simply amazing.  I fly it more than the NGX.

Cool, looking forward to it. So while I wait can you say why you prefer it over PMDG?

It would be nice if the ifly VC had a little bit more of a used feeling. Maybe some better textures. I sometimes use it for the 600 and the BBJ versions when I actually need the range of a BBJ

It's a good plane

From my personal experience, I think the ifly cockpit feels more realistic. Something about the NGX cockpit just feels "off".
