I think this could be very useful for add-on aircraft developers to help users learn how to fly the aircraft as well as provide good simulation scenarios.

Hopefully the blog updates are weekly.  Wes Bard stated in his end paragraph "Thanks for reading this week’s developer blog for Prepar3D v2.0" so hopefully that means weekly updates will occur.  :)

Very interesting.  I actually had a paper/outline version of a similar application sketched out that has been sitting in my notebook for quite awhile - I liked the idea, but not the coding required :)  Very glad to see something like this materialize.

Of course it is "safe to read this." It is safe even to discuss the new Mission Editor, which has absolutely nothing to do with any prohibited topic(s).

If someone could turn this into a game with a series of missions that would be great! And when i say game I don't think about going for aerocaches and flying hoolahoops, but realistic games like PPL checkout, Air Hauler missions for realistic cargo flights, Airline flights etc.

Perhaps we can call them simulation scenarios.  :)

Actually someone has. Redbird has developed the AOPA Jay using P3D that does some of that. I did a review of it a short while ago:

Just read the blog update.

It was very entertaining.

WAIT, OH NOOOOOOOOOOOO...

Current Build (02/2024): AMD 7800X3D | Asrock X670E Steel Legend MB | Noctua NH-U12S Chromax | 32gb GSkill Trident Z5 DDR5-6000 CAS 30 | Samsung 990 Pro 2tb NVMe Gen4 (OS) | WD Black 4tb NVMe Gen4 (MSFS) | Corsair RM1000x Shift Series PS | ASUS RTX 4090 Strix ROG | LG 55" C2 Display

Whilst reading the blog I got a little anxious, because it reminds me a little of SSIS in SQL, but i won't go into that black hole...

...from a pilots point of view the blog is a bit of an anticlimax. On reflection, can you imagine the massive step forward this tool will offer developers and the possibilities it will open up.
