You can find it here:

Any actual comments / impressions from customers yet?

Yea, buy it!

My jaw was on the floor when I did the walk through. I dont normally like this type of plane, however this raises the bar higher than the FF777. The LES Saab 340a and now this aircraft. This is the step in the direction x-plane needed.

PS Xsquawkbox 64bit is in Beta!

Wish he would have streamed the night lighting.

Last night was just a quick first look. Plus it was released real late my time. Tonight I will be streaming at 6pm cdt for around 4 hrs. Ill do the flight in real time instead of day lighting.

Oh don't forget, if there is only one free addon to get, it will be from this site.

He offers HD mesh's for xplane 10. This is a must have.

Good for FF.  I also see a bunch of repaint pack for this model as well at 10 USD a pack.  What is special about these repaints that deserve this money?  Coming from FSX, where McPhat repaints are renounced about their high resolution and low framerate impact, I can see the justification.  These paint packs looks like normal paints that should have been available for free or some nominal fees but not 10 USD.  May be I am visually impaired and the paints are much higher than the free ones by others, if so can anyone comment?

Well here is how I see it. People, other than FF, put their time an effort into making the repaints. So I dont really see an issues helping to support the artists.

Another point is the it keeps the cost of the aircraft down. FF makes their money and the Artist make theirs. 60 dollars and then 10 dollars to buy the pack you want. So in total 70 dollars spent, which is still not bad for this level of aircraft. Looking at FSX side of things you will pay $90+ for something like this. So its a bargin all the way around. B)

I have a question. One thing that bugs me in the FF 777 is the lack of wind sounds, or at least ones I can hear. The cockpit is so so quiet. Yes I have the latest update. Anyways, when I watched the livestream, I noticed that after takeoff there were still no audible wind sounds. I don't have the plane, so I don't know if this is true or not so that's why I'm asking you guys. Is there a wind sound? Does it drown out the engines at cruise, like it should?

The only model that has hit this price in FSX is the PMDG 777 LRX, the 737NGX i $70 and that included 4 variants, with all free liveries. There is a payware model expansion pack to add the 600 ad 700NG models. at $25 though. Most other developers models are much lower price, and most of those include liveries for free. So I have to agree charging for liveries here, do appear steep, especially with the graphic quality which I'm not impressed with so far. I've already posted what I felt of the VC cockpit in a previous post on the preview video. What I saw in AtomicFrawg's Twitch stream, hasn't changed that perception. Also the flap deployment is wrong on this 757. Like their 777 there is too much separation  between the wing and the flaps at full flaps. There should not be such a large gap. On the plus side, sounds are excellent the annoying tire screech is a gone on this model!!! Atom didn't get into the systems yet , but the plane seemed to handle pretty good,

Thanks

I have the sounds turned way down for live streaming. It tends to drown out my voice and people start yelling they can't hear me. (as if I have anything worth while to say)

I do agree that the color is off in the cockpit, to much red. (the saabs and the FJS 727 cockpit is spot on fyi) However, with the minor issues, this is still a top notch aircraft. As far as the liveries go, yes, they should have provided more than just 4 with the aircraft, but still not a show stopper. I have never seen a 757 with its flaps fully deployed, so I can't realy coment on that.

I will be digging deeper into the airplane in the next few days (all weekend). Last night, just kinda happened.

Please keep in mind that what you see on twitch is not entirly on my monitor. A lot of quality is lost in the process of getting the video from me to you in real time at only 720p. 1080p is just to taxing with the bandwith limits twitch has now put in place.

There is a free paint kit available for the 757.

I can't show pics, because I would violate copyright, but do a Google image Search on "Boeing 757 Flaps", then compare them to the model or the pics in the posted review and you'll see what I mean!

Thanks

As for the flaps. I noticed it first thing. The first one is from the review that I linked in my previous post. Second is Google images.

I also agree there is something very wrong with the flaps!
