EJETS VC Upgrade FSX Version

Main texture .pdns

Alright, have fun guys  :Nerd:

The post above should still work.  I have  installed the updates  in all my fsx 175/195 with no problems.

Hope the download works for you..

Appreciated - thank you

Hi Carl

Just one question and please forgive my dumbness!!!

Where do the layered main panel textures exactly go ?

Trevor

Wow, I did not know that this mod existed. Thanks for the work Brian.

Trevor, that was a good question since I totally overlooked that file.  However I do not believe it is needed ("main texture.pdns") only if you want to change something in your panel.  See below.  I do not have it installed. I may go ahead and install the file into my main panel and see what happens.

"Below you will find a package for each sim version, and also a link to layered VC main panel textures, in the freeware paint.net format, for those that want to add custom registrations, etc."

One more note, I only use FSX-SE but did not download E-Jets from Steam.  The "W" key does work in my 2D panel for the Hud.

Carl

Congratulations for the nice work!!!

Hi Brian,

I installed the VC upgrade into FSX a while back then got really busy with things.  I have been meaning to ask, does the upgrade sharpen the text and panel lighting lines in the VC labels only?  I am not sure what I should be looking for.  I am finding the flight control panel (AP, BARO, NAV, HDG) is still kind of blurry.

Thanks,

Rob

Just to add to this thread - it works perfectly with the E-jets P3D v4 version as well

Many thanks Brian!

Installed last night into Prepar3D v4, can't remember what I did the last time regarding the .bmp textures that are replaced so I am not sure if I did it correctly.  Are the VC_Cockpit, VC_Panel, VC_Salon, VC_Seats bitmaps supposed to be deleted from the texture folders or have you folks left them in the folders?  Something doesn't look right.

Thanks,

Robert

You don't have to delete anything. Just replace whatever you are asked for. I remember there was a readme describing what to put in each folder.
